All right, Hob Gadling's green velvet couch is now officially a dress, courtesy of some free velvet from @elrhiarhodan's stash. Dressy details include a highly supportive bodice that doesn't actually require a bra even for my Hoobs, and some cute completely improvised tulip sleeves, while couchy details include a contrast-piped hem and some British change found in the cracks.

The bottom phrase isn't that far off to be fair, it's just that instead of asking you to vote for (elect) Trump, it's commanding you to vote for Trump (in his place)
So my takeaway is Trump's such a lazy fucking bum that he needs someone else to do his voting for him
Latin nerd here - the bottom line may actually have been an attempt at "votes for (in favor of) Trump" which would track, if you read "vote" as the plural of the noun "votum" rather than a completely messed up attempt at an imperative... but I agree, the story that led to this billboard deserves being brought to light because who on EARTH translates an election slogan into LATIN?

OMG yes sweet peas. I still remember the year I picked them as my flowers for my kid garden (what? Yes, I had a genuine Kindergarten at home, thank you very much, and got to pick a couple of fruit/veg items and flowers each year to look after), and while their looks didn't enchant me so much as amuse me, the *scent* was the most amazing thing.
Someone down the street (another country, another decade, another life) is growing sweet peas, and I am so tempted to steal some seeds. Or make friends with them over their love for sweet peas.

My RL given name is very uncommon where I live so someone using they/them when referring to me in, say, work email means they've stopped to think, realized they couldn't safely guess my gender based on my name, and picked the respectful route rather than accidentally misgendering. To which I say, more power to them.
(I'm a cis woman and I use she/her but my name resembles several male names and I work in a majority-male field so I get 'Mr [Tem]' a lot still)

Yes, we had to take gym every year and couldn't swap it out

I need to know if my suffering is just because my school district hates students or if it's a common thing
Germany - I had the rare distinction of getting out of gym class for several semesters in high school because I convinced the county-appointed doctor that I had trauma around things flying at my head from getting hit by a car at 14. Got me out of the most hated aspects of gym class (soccer, volleyball, basketball, you name it, ugh, balls) so I only had to do track & field, which I was bad at but didn't mind, and dance, which I actually enjoyed.
