What is the MCYT Fandom Movie Night Event?

Good question!

This will be a collection of fanfiction, podfiction, and art, all in one event (possibly including animation). Similar to a big bang, but not quite. Fanfic writers will write one piece of fiction, prose of their choosing in one of the fandoms that mods will mod for, podfic peeps will read the fanfic out loud, and artists will create one piece of art for the thumbnail of the podfic video. If we get enough animators in the event, should it go forward past this interest check, animations will be done with 1 second of animation per animator at 5 fps.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.
