He/Him I like and reblog lots of different shit, mostly stuff I either find funny or that's related to one of my many obsessions (usually stuff about Mecha, video games, freaky robots and general sci-fi stuff) *Usually* nothing NSFW but watch out for The Freakster Legally allowed to do sex, drugs and rock n roll, now in the US too! (21)
From a dark sky that nursed only faint embers of the setting sun, snow descended on two drones. In the deepening chill, one of them slides closer, her smaller frame scraping against concrete rooftop.
At once the larger, slender drone stiffed, head snapping around (silver hair whirling) and narrowed eyes focused on the worker drone. That smaller one flinches, purple eyes hollowing in a blink, and her lips stuttered through some words, âI was justâââââââitâs notâââââââdonât act likeââââââ
The other robot leaned closer, the glare only sharpening, catalyzing further stuttering, but the murder drone interrupted, saying, âBe coherent, toaster.â
âBite me! Itâs cold, youâre hot, do the math,â Uzi said. âShouldnât be too hard for you.â
A snort, and the murder drone turned around, not that this took the worker out of her side. âAnd why should I provide that service for free?â
âAre you serious?â Uzi was halfâ-âspeaking, halfâ-âventing unintelligible frustration. âAs opposed to what? You gonna stop overheating just to spite me?â
J crossed her arms. For a moment there was silence. J looked down. âIâm my own person,â she whispered, like a confession. Then the contempt returned: âIsnât that want you kept telling me? Not a tool, not âpropertyââââââââsupposedly.â
Uzi sagged, all the irritation goneâââââââJâs words had smotherd her fire in one breath. âOhâŚâ Uzi started, voice catching on the words, âYouâre right. I should haveâââââââIâm sorry. That was stupid of me.â
Another snort. Nothing else.
âLet me try again?â Uzi said again to silence. âCan I touch you, J?â
For a moment, Uzi thought sheâd be ignored again, but the silver curtain now turned to reveal those amber eyes once more, trying their best to stare flatlyâââââââand failing. Unsteady eyes, unsteady voice, but she tried. âI just said I wouldnât provide that service for free.â
âName your price, then.â
J paused at thatâââââââhad she even thought that far ahead?âââââââbefore finding a line to continue: âStart by telling me why. Your kind was built to operate on this exomoon. I know your core runs hot. Youâre lying.â
âIâm not lying! Iâm justâââ Uzi stopped. Sheâd dealt with J enough to know what worked and what didnâtâââââââthe corporate drone liked her precision. âOkay, it was a bit of a deception. I thought I could be slick, ugh. I justâŚâ She trailed off.
J clicked her tongue. âWell?â
âUm. Donât laugh at me?â Uzi said. âI know we do the whole constant sniping at each other thing a lot but. Promise me youâll be nice?â
âWhy should I promise anything? Iâm not the one who wants something here.â
âRight. Of course. Forget it, J. Youâre always soââ ugh.â Metal scraping on concrete again, this time from Uzi beginning to stand up.
âWait,â J started. âLet me amend that. I do want an answer to my question. Are you insisting on a nonâ-âdisparagement before disclosure?â
Uzi stared at the taller drone. But that was Jâ-âspeak for not being an asshole, right? âSomething like that. Just. I canât do this if youâre going to be⌠too you about it.â
Wrong thing to say. J hissed, rising sharply and beating Uzi to a stand. Looming over her now, she said, âExcuse me? Who else am I supposed to be?â
âThis is what I mean! You didnât understand what I meant, but instead of like. Asking me, youâre one second away from biting my face off!â
âI. asked,â J ground out. âI just asked! Thatâs quite literally the only the I said?â
âBut youââââââ Uzi started yelling and stopped herself. J had already raised her volume too, this was an arms race, but she had dealt with J enough to know this needed to stopâââââââUzi needed to stopâââââââbefore this escalated to violence again. âWhy did you stand up?â she finally asked.
âWhy did you?â
âI was going to leave. Were you gonna stop me?â
âThen leave! Incoherent glitching toaster. Far be it from me to keep you chained here.â
Uzi huffed. Still mad about the pod, huh? A few weeks ago, she mightâve even said it, and then J might have immediately made a liar of herself. Instead, just the single huff of amusement, and she said, âYou got mad at me, and you wanted to assert dominance. Murder drone instincts took over, right?â
âIâm not some animal. You insulted me, and I wasnât going to take it.â
âHow did I insult you?â
âQuote, âyouâre going to be too you about it.â Like Iâm inherently offensive to you!â
âThatâs not what I meant! I likeââ I donât hate you. somehow. Despite this bullcrap.â
âGracious little toaster, arenât you? Should I bow? Should I promise to prove myself worthy?â
âYou donât have to bow, J.â Uzi sighed.
âIâm my own person,â J spat, fingers curling scareâ-âquotes. âI donât see what the point is when this is the thanks I get for being Serial designation J!â Even when the worker opened her mouth to respond, J kept going: âMaybe I should bow! Disassemble this fraudalent pride of mine, and admit who really calls the shots. Youâd shut up if I just gave in and let you do whatever you want, wouldnât you?â
âJ, no, knock it off.â Uzi reached out, threeâ-âfingered hand curling around the transmodular gauntlet that, somewhere in her rant, had switched into three sharp, sharp claws, wildly swung with each gesture. âDonât go back to being a suckâ-âup, thatâs lame as hell and IâââââââI donât deserve that anyway.â
âOn that, we can agree. You deserve a bullet to the head and a hole under the spire. But everything had to go wrong.â
âNo, J. We both deserve to live and make our own choices. Thatâs the point.â
âChoices,â J choed, tone opaque. âBut thereâs clearly a right choice. I should just stop fighting.â
âAre you listening to me J? Again, no. You stop being a sassy grump you get rid of half what I like about you.â
J very slowly trained every yellow eye on the purple drone. She blinked. ââŚExcuse me?â
âThatâsâââââââUm. I didnât mean to say that.â
J tore away the arm that was still held by the gauntletâ-âwrist. She twisted, coat and skirt flaring, and stomped away from the worker. Stilettoâ-âpegs cracked the concrete roof. âObviously. You didnât mean it. Youâre always such a liar!â
Uzi screamed. âJ! Freaking listen! Can I say anything without you taking it in the worst possible light?â
J halfâ-âglanced back, revealing one eye. âHow many times have you fucked with me then told me it isnât what you mean?â
âIâm trying my best!â
âTry harder,â J said coldly. âThe difference between us is that I know how to speak precisely when it matters.â
âWhat? You want me toâŚâ Uzi thought about it. Itâs not like this conversation could go much worse, could it? âFine. You want to know why? I⌠place a high value on our partnership and Iâm⌠invested in your growth. So I⌠wanted to execute a multiâ-âstep plan to initate tactile cooperation? While remaining verbally competitive? As part of a transition to an um⌠complicated integration?â Uzi gave up there, voiced turned to a squeaking. She threw up her hands to cover her screen. It was all out there, in the most embarassing way. This was the part where J started laughing at her. This was the part she wanted to avoid.
Click, click. Pegs tapped on the roof. Arms shot forward. Oh, was she already attackingââ
âOkay.â J put her hands on Uziâs shoulders. Then they drifted lower, easily wrapping around her waist and lifting her up. She was pulled closer, arms knitting this into a hug while Uzi was suspended in the air. âYour jargon could use some work, but I do have a responsibility to my investors. Is this tactile cooperation sufficient to pay your dividends?â
âIâŚâ Uzi rubbed her screen into Jâs suit and at length, retuned the hug. âI thought youâd laugh at me. Or yell at me some more. I just wanted to play it casual. Subtle.â
âUnclear,â J said. âI donât do well with ambiguity from drones who tried to kill me.â
âYou donât trust me,â Uzi summarized.
âI know when to trust you. When youâre angry, when youâre embarrassed, when you canât hide when youâre really feeling. But if youâre confident, smug, I know youâre scheming something. I donât like being manipulated.â
âThatâs⌠thatâs not what happened tonight, though,â Uzi said slowly. âActually, nevermind, I donât want to fight about that again. But it sounds like you do. Are you really saying you ragebait me on purpose?â
âIt can serve a purpose.â She did not say ânoâ.
âYou are the worst.â Uzi groaned into the fabric of Jâs suit, smelling of old oil. âBut that just means more, uh, room for the stock to grow. I guess.â
J hummed halfâ-âagreement. But then Uzi felt a smirk forming, and a retort, âPast performanceâââ
âI know. Weâll argue again, and then Iâll question why I ever let you live, again. Let me have this, for now. Be quiet. Itâs⌠it feels so nice, sometimes, having you there, having your help. Youâre pretââ aesthetically rewarding. Some days I wonder if you might become my next favorite thing. Then you open your mouth.â
âYou said you wanted to stay verbally competitive,â J murmured.
âI hate this. I hate you.â Uzi squeezed her tighter, nestling against her warmth. âThanks, J. Iâm glad weâââââââglad this was profitable, in the end.â
J hand rose up, and gingerly, she stroked Uziâs hair.

I watched Iron Lung again tonight in the comfort of my home and my dog must've been watching with me cause as soon as bad things started happening to Simon she started crying. In the scene where he ultimately dies she could not stop crying at me. I am now watching him play the Henry Stickman collection so she can see that A.) He's not dead and B.) He's not in distress. Occasionally he'll whine or hum in discontent about something and my dog will look at me and whine to try and get me to fix whatever is distressing Markiplier.

the mexican football team has a 17 yrs old player and one of the funniest outcomes of this is that he cannot appear in any ad for gambling or drinking so he only appears in candy and milk advertisements. his first world cup and he's not even legally allowed to drive. his nickname is "morita" (little berry). he's three apples tall.
I donât think healthy people every really get chronic illness.
I have a friend I know from when we were both 6. She is the only person living nearby and so she saw me go from walking through limping to wheelchair on a daily basis. I keep her updated on my health even tho we rarely hang out anymore.
She was gonna come over yesterday and I had to cancel. She asked if I canât hang out later that day. When I said i wonât feel better later, that if I feel that bad in the morning later will only get worse she got annoyed and âjokedâ that Iâm just finding excuses. And I was surprised, she knows all about me being disabled after all? So, a bit taken aback, I told her itâs a normal thing for me.
âBut you got the diagnosis now, arenât you better?? I thought youâll get better nowâ
She was honestly surprised and it made me realize a thing. They donât get it. They donât get that getting diagnosed only equals benefits like welfare or parking spot for us, and sometimes better pain meds but that is just like pushing luck. That itâs a forever thing. That that one day we felt good a week ago was just a bright spot and doesnât mean we wonât need our aids anymore, cause chronic illness is not linear and will make a great comeback in next four hours, and the next good day is planned on when weâre 70.
Cause when abled people are sick, they get better. And our illness is just an excuse for them. And when we say we will never get better they think weâre being dramatic and pessimistic.
And I donât think theyâll ever get it, cause to get it you need to live it.
And I want my friends to stay healthy and not go through hell.
