my gay awaking was middle school specifically 7th grade everyone was talking about aex and I just didn't really seem interested in it.

we were in a lesson on LGBTQ+ and images of some LGBTQ+ celebs were put on the board. I figured it out when I thought all the women were hot

for i while i thought i was bi because if i didn’t like anyone specifically i must just like everyone. but then i read loveless and realized that being aroace exist. i accepted i was ace pretty fast but then realized i was aro later. i’m now thinking maybe i’m demi aro or gray aro maybe because i still want the basic partnership of a relationship

I thought I was pan for the longest time and then in mid october my friend confessed that he liked me and I lowk liked him back. but literally two days later the feeling left me and I said I didn't wanna date him (now we're platonic friends who act romantic w each other). that's when I found out what being lithromantic was. uh had a lotttt of crushes on girls before I found out I was gay but I kinda suspected a bit since 5th grade in 6th grade I liked some guy and assumed I must not be gay and then 7th grade I was like maybe but no, and then 8th grade I had a crush on my best friend and realized oh shit

I had a lot of queer/gender questioning moments I don’t know when it really started here is a few

I often found myself playing the father figure/ any male roles in play pretend in primary school which I enjoyed to a degree,I found it fitting and like being in a relationship where I have a wife.

I found girls to be more ‘interesting’ or beautiful in a way then boys yet never really formed an attraction to either

Had embarrassment to go into the girls bathrooms/ changing rooms as I felt l like a creep, also the fact some day it didn’t feel right/belonged at all

Told my whole family when I was six-eight I would rather date girls then a boys if given the two options

Any ‘crush’ on boys or in general would have had to have either feminine features that made me feel a type of ‘attraction’ to them or I would be sort of jealous on how they’re seen by others a sort of admire but jealous type situation that the best I can describe it….

Okay, so this was as close as I could get
