me when im so used to constantly being drained, always feel like im being stabbed all over, cannot breathe properly due to a blockage in my chest (or i did something to my ribs), have started shaking and being faint again, am constantly only having sexual thoughts, am taking part in ruminations multiple times an hour because i keep visualising the evils upon us, am just genuinely sick of worrying, have new bruises each time i do a sport, my injuries dont heal, have random unexplained scars and blisters, have been very overly in my emotions, dont even menstruate anymore, hair is thinning, have migranes, am genuinely scared in the fact i have a whole life i have to figure out and start considering giving up again

It is really, really funny that the new Spider-man movie decided to solve the "why is this one vigilante kid the only person in a world of superheroes tackling this threat" problem by stating that it's because Yelena Belova is currently in charge of deciding what rises to an Avengers-level threat and she mostly decides based on vibes. Larp is the most immersive, passionate, creative, and knowledgeable nerdy community I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. How the hell did it end up being used as an insult to mean "fake fan"?! Linguistically, it doesn't even make sense either cause it's not a word; it's an acronym. Live action role player has no place being used instead of poser, phony, faker, or any of the other myriad of words we already have for this kind of situation. And the only excuse I've seen people use when this is pointed out is some bull along the lines of "it sounds funnier to say larp". Good to know you value the sound of a word over the fact you're using the most dedicated people a fanbase can have as an insult intended to mean the opposite.
