If you hate animals you're not a good person actually. Any kinds of animals, even the poisonous ones, even the ugly ones, even the annoying ones. Yes, even the bugs, spiders, snakes, worms, every thing under the fucking sun. You don't get to chose who lives and who doesn't.
Okay I'm certain someone has brought this up at some point already, but the idea is just so cute to me that I'm haunted by it.
I love humans with jewelry. Humans that like sparkly crystals and wear them on their fingers and wrists and necks and ears, in their hair and decorated on their clothes. Honestly chances are, all aliens have jewelry they value from their planets. It's a space-wide thing to cover yourself in treasures from your world.
And I just this it's so precious and sweet that we decorate ourselves with little shiny stones from our little planet and we consider them the most valuable things we own. We carry pieces of Earth with us all the time and we show our love for her by collecting her and dressing in her and loving her so fully. I think that's awesome.

Being able to draw older people as attractive without reducing or erasing the visual signs of aging, and in fact showing that they're attractive because of those signs, is an artistic skill that should be valued so much more. Honestly, it should earn you an immediate fortune because holy fuck is it a rare commodity. There are so many artists who seem to think attractiveness and aging exist in opposition to each other, so they smooth every wrinkle, erase every crease, and de-age the character until they're basically thirty with silver hair. But when an artist can look at crow's feet, smile lines, weathered skin, deep-set wrinkles, and all the little traces of a life well lived and say, "No, that's what makes them beautiful," that's a level of artistic observation and care I wish we celebrated more often.
