i have curly hair (around 3a-b maybe - idk because my parents think using products is bad for my hair) and i eventually did convince my parents to get me a bonnet. i did infact later find out that it is from temu but i still use it because well throwing it out would just enforce more landfill etc and i kinda need it so my hair isn't impossible.
anyway, this was like a year ago and i still use the same bonnet but its kinda loose now (it keeps falling and covering my eyes); i'm not gonna ask for another one because it'd just repeat the same thing and i generally can't ask for stuff anyway. i currently have my bonnet staying in place with a buckle fastener thing but i know its going to be a pain in my head when i sleep tonight. i could just take it off at night but i come looking for a better solution.
i am thinking of making like a headband i can tie/fasten around the band of my bonnet as a remedy (i'd prolly do this by finger knitting a woolen band and then tucking in one side of the knot or something) but i am open to any other suggestions
tbh if someone just handed me a pressure washer and set me loose in the streets i would go into a trance and just start hosing shit down indiscriminately. it's not a question of how much i could clean, but how long until i get hit by a car and die
