why is it always the most unfunny people that are the ones to ascribe personality to kris's SOUL. like it's one thing to ascribe personality to it at all, as though kris's own human SOUL were an autonomous agent in the story that could offer any direction outside the bounds of either the objective physical world or kris's firmly-defined personality. it's another to have it speak as though it's operating through some invisible fandom census on the thoughts of the median player of deltarune, which ā as an already impossible task which is being taken up by people who aren't good writers ā ends up culminating as this lumping of all imagined (in the most shallow scope) possible personalities behind the controller into one faux-relatable little āusā that consists of the most insipid, flat, white personailty imaginable. no one ever writes this SOUL/player having depth. in terms of writing it's about as effective and meaningful as old sprite comic self inserts.
