RoÅ”tilj vikend žurka u dvoriÅ”tu. Vikend koji nam dolazi, ako je verovati vremenskoj prognozi, je poslednji sunÄani vikend pred znatni pad temperature. Od avgusta se treba pozdraviti roÅ”tiljem u dvoriÅ”tu. Ne znam odakle da krenem sa prezentacijom moje trpeze š Burgere, od kada sam spremala za jednog klijenta, spremam uvek na isti naÄin. Kako sam u roÅ”tilj miksu, koji možete naÄi u @persumarketi, dobila oblikovane pljeskavice, objasniÄu prilog koji obavezno pravim. . Brzi aioli sos, koji obožavam baÅ” u burgeru. PomeÅ”ajte 200g majoneza sa 3 Äena sitno naseckanog belog luka, 2 kaÅ”ike soka od limete, kaÅ”iÄicom dijon senfa i prstohvatom soli. Ja ne volim majonez inaÄe, ali ovaj sos nema veze sa ukusom majoneza, tako da probajte nekada. Obavezno je samo ostaviti sos da odstoji pola sata kako bi beli luk ispustio sokoveš ako nemate limetu, ni senf, majonez i beli luk su vam baza, dok su ostalo detalji. Obožavam u burgeru i karamelizovani luk, ali kako je ovo roÅ”tilj varijanta, zamenila sam je salsom. . Salsu sam spremila od sitno naseckanog povrÄa na kockice: 3 paradajza, jalapeno paprika ili klasiÄna ljuta Å”ilja, 1/2 crvenog luka, sveži korijander ili perÅ”un, so i biber po ukusu. . Za ražnjiÄe sam reÄala redom: cherry paradajz, peÄurku, meso, slatku papriku, crveni luk, meso, tikvicu i opet cherry za kraj. Meso nisam stavljala u posebnu marinadu kako nisam imala vremena za sveš . Using pecan wood today and running super smoke at 225° for about 2 hours and then switching to 250° to finish it off. Chef ILona Daniel: Elote (Mexican Street Corn)
Lots of big flavours and textures in this easy and approachable backyard bbq or street fiesta dish! This is not the authentic version, but my fun riff on the classic. (photo credit: Cordell Wells)
ELOTE (MEXICAN STREET CORN)
For the grilled corn:
12 cobs of cornsĀ
salted water for the cobs to soak in
vegetable oil to lightly brush the corn before grilling
Peel the husk slowly, leaf by leaf while leaving them still attached to the cob. Remove all of the silk and discard. Tear a string-sized piece of husk to tie all of the the leaves together. Soak the cobs for an hour in salted water before putting corn on the grill. Brush the cobs lightly with oil and grill. Grill the cobs at medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes. Turn the cobs every 2-3 minutes to ensure the entire cob is lightly charred and heated throughout.
Tomatillo & Queso Fresco Slather:
1 cup (160 oz) queso fresco or feta cheese, crumbled
2 containers (8oz) whipped cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup tomatillo salsa
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp garlic powder
Juice of 2 limes
Blend all the ingredients using a stick blender or food processor.
Elote coating:
1 bag Jalapeno-Cheddar Cheetos, crushed into dust
1 bag Flaming Sweet Chili Heat Cheetos, crushed into dust
1 cup chopped cilantro
Combine all the ingredients together.
To assemble the elote:
Using a pastry brush, brush the tomatillo & queso fresco slather all of the grilled corn kernels. Next, spoon cheeto dust all over the corn. Eat! Repeat!

Mushroom and Habanero Montereyjack burger topped with caramelized onions. I added classic iceberg, nice red tomato slices and a couple of sliced dills for that classic burger appeal.
