Ingredients: 1 lb dried navy beans. 1 large onion, finely chopped. 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1/2 cup molasses. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 3 tbsp Dijon mustard. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. 4 cups water.
Instructions: Rinse the navy beans and pick out any debris. Place the beans in the slow cooker and add enough water to cover them by about 2 inches. Cover and let them soak overnight. Drain and rinse the soaked beans. In the slow cooker, combine soaked beans, chopped onion, crumbled bacon, molasses, ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and water. Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, saut until fragrant. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. Stir in marinara sauce and cooked spaghetti.
