Red flags: Unbelievable nature you've never seen before!, no external source cited, low image quality could be hiding AI artifacts, lacks scientific name for plant, OP is an aesthetic blog (no offense, I see you credit most of the artists you post, OP <3).

Green flags: Common name of the tree provided (although the leaves don't look like any olive tree I've ever seen).

Reverse image searches and citation trails all seem to lead back to now-deleted Reddit posts. Google Images says it's this one in r/NatureIsFuckingLit, and TinEye says it's this one in r/interestingasfuck. Both were posted back in 2020. This is important because the rise of AI images was in 2022.

People in the comments of places this image is posted throw around botanical terms like "dichotomous branching" [branches split into two at the nodes] and "divaricated" [branches grow far apart from each other], which are cool, but don't tell me what the tree is.

Searching up "Black Olive" on iNaturalist finally got me some answers, and it turns out that YES. This is a real tree! This tree is a Dwarf Black Olive (Terminalia molinetii, Formerly Bucida spinosa). The above photos are some particularly nicely framed shots of a tree with particularly small leaves, which really highlights the branching structure. I really wish we knew the photographer's name. This tree is native to Southern Mexico, Belize, the southern tip of Florida, and Cuba. Dwarf Black Olives are completely unrelated to Olive trees in the Olea genus that I'm more familiar with (the former is in Order Myrtales [Myrtles, Evening Primroses, and Allies], and the latter is in Order Lamiales [Mints, Plantains, Olives, and Allies]).

The demon is...striking, Zoey decides, and if she had to honest, very pretty.

Her skin is a deep purple color, highlighted by softly glowing magenta patterns, a shade lighter than the long purple hair that drapes down her back, tied into a long braid like Ryu Miyeong's. A pair of small horns jut from her hairline, little golden beads frame her brows and cheekbones, and three golden eyes with deep back sclera stare up at them with a fawning awe, the third one lodged in her forehead, though her face is otherwise pretty human.

Oh yeah, and she's in a limited edition Sunlight Sisters hoodie with a Honmoon woven Saingeom at her side. Zoey's probably burying the lede on that.

"A monster," the demon admits, kneeling in front of them, "Tainted, a demon, I know, I know just...needed to see you,"

The Honmoon vibrates as she speaks, and her final words strike a chord in Zoey's heart, opening an old wound.

They'd never found their third hunter.

"You're a nice demon," Zoey says, flaking on what she means.

"Zoey!" Mira hisses, "You know what Celine taught us! Demons are monsters, we need to kill them-,"

"-without hesitation," Rumi finishes in a disturbingly familiar cadence, "She told me that too, that you would kill me if you found out I existed,"

The words hit her over and over in a devastating combo, and she pushes past Mira to stare down at the kneeling demon, a surge of emotions boiling in her chest like a storm.

"Then why didn't she tell you about us!?" she demands, her own shout surprising her.

The demon straightens, less a being of flesh and bone and more a robot.

Well maybe I don’t WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!
