spouse indicator: the oriental planet
one of the methods in traditional astrology to determine traits and quality of the spouse is called the oriental planet (meaning they rise in the morning before the sun), which was initially written down by Ptolemy in 2nd century C.E. but it's rooted in Babylonian observations of planetary visibility.
as the name suggests, for judging the spouse in a woman's chart you need to look at the planet sitting right before the sun (excluding outer planets and luminaries). for men, you look at the planet right ahead of the moon or the occidental planet.
e.g if you have cancer sun at 24 degrees and cancer mercury at 10 degrees, that becomes the oriental planet.
if it sits in an angular house (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th), the husband will be highly prominent, public, or have a massive impact on the native’s life. if it’s in a cadent house (6th, 8th, 12th), his qualities might be expressed quietly or he may face chronic struggles (illness, behind-the-scenes work, underground business).
if the oriental planet is:
mars ♂ : a powerful, active, or hot-tempered man. ptolemy says he will be "severe and brutal". while an oriental mars can indicate a husband who is a soldier, craftsman or someone prone to anger and rash decisions it also promises a spouse who is protective and highly dynamic. they're usually entrepreneurial and courageous. especially if mars is debilitated, the husband can really struggle with temper management and can come from a family where most of them have short temper (because it'd be in cancer) but still he will be very protective and stand up for you, be involved in your life in every way and put in a lot of effort. (georgina rodriguez's oriental planet is 29 degrees capricorn mars, it's in its own decan and at a degree associated with big wealth and power. it's also opposite her leo moon, certainly her husband (ronaldo) is a very rich and successful sportsman. beyonce's oriental planet is also leo mars in a strong position and conjunct north node, she married a very successful and rich man in entertainment business (5h leo mars conj north node). both of these men are aggressively competitive and had early lives consisting of street-level survival and violence. jay-z has spoken openly about going to therapy to decode his short temper). another woman whose oriental planet is aries mars has a husband who's been an entrepreneur from a young age and has a fitness app designed for women, and owns multiple other brands.
saturn ♄: an older, serious or highly practical man. according to ptolemy he will be "industrious, wealthy and grave," but also cold or austere. the husband could be dull, miserly, stubborn or downcast. if well-placed, he represents long-term stability and maturity. if exalted, the husband could certainly be wealthy and have wide network. but if the aspects are rough, it can give a deluded or impractical husband as well (e.g kim kardashian's oriental planet is libra saturn; she married a very rich and successful musician and businessman kanye west who described her as his "dream girl", but it's also opposite her pisces moon and conjunct jupiter, kanye is also very generous and religious but struggles a lot with mental health and stability. if saturn is badly placed, it can give a sick and unstable spouse. a woman whose oriental planet is aries saturn in 12H had a lot of issues with her husband and in her marriage and her husband got sick and involved in underground businesses.
jupiter ♃: a noble, generous and highly respected man. ptolemy says "he will be "magnanimous, generous, and honorable." this is traditionally viewed as the most favorable indicator, predicting a husband of good social standing, high morals or legal/religious prominence. he might have a religious upbringing and faith in the creator, often occuppy himself with grander ideas and ideologies, get involved in academics and political spheres, get involved with law as well. they will value good education and learning. miranda kerr's oriental planet is sagittarius jupiter in its own decan and she marreid snapchat's co-founder who became the world's youngest billionaire at just 24 and was also accepted to stanford - her 7L is also conjunct lot of fortune. they can also be overconfident and arrogant, stubborn about being right. melania trump's oriental planet is scorpio jupiter and obviously her husband's rich and involved in politics (lol). it's also aspecting her taurus stellium, he comes from generational wealth and real estate business.
venus ♀: a charming, handsome, and pleasant man. ptolemy says "he will be handsome, cheerful and pleasant." this predicts a marriage based on mutual affection, art or beauty. however, if venus is poorly placed, it can indicate a spouse who is overly self-indulgent or superficial. if it's debilitated in virgo, it can show the love in the marriage will be lacking or unequality will become a problem (you might never see eye to eye). if well-placed, he might be very artistic, charming, visually pleasing to look at, diplomatic and has good relations with people, also good at building wealth. he might be skilled in aesthetic curation or jewelry, work with jewelry or clothes etc. a good example of this is hailey bieber, whose oriental planet is 29 degrees libra venus. she basically married the prettiest man there once was, and the greatest artistic talent of a generation. another woman whose oriental planet is virgo venus had a husband who used to work as a jewelry designer but switched jobs a lot.
mercury ☿: a clever, highly articulate, or business-minded man. ptolemy says he will be "thrifty, efficient, and clever in business affairs." the husband is predicted to be youthful in spirit, intellectual or involved in trade, writing, or communication. they're frequently occuppied with jobs in media, might wear glasses, might be involved in journalism, publishing, television, marketing and production. they might like collecting things, reading and keeping themselves mentally agile and versatile. it can give ocd traits, being obsessive about orderliness, rituals and cleanliness. victoria beckham's oriental planet is aries mercury, and his husband david beckham is a successful ex-football player and he possessed a superior game intelligence that allowed him to see the field as a chessboard. he then also became a businessman and fashion icon. meghan markle's oriental planet is 2H leo mercury conjunct leo north node, of course sitting with domicile leo sun. as we know she literally married royalty. prince harry meticulously wrote a book revealing every detail of the royal family's private life including dialogues and memories. like traditional mercurial characters, harry has made a radical and unpredictable major change of direction in his life by leaving his royal duties and moving to the US, perfectly aligning with meghan's leo mercury-node conjunction.
women should pay more attention to their moon & venus first and foremost, as they are the indicators of women and femininity
same way men should pay more attention to their sun & mars. they express their solar & martian energy before anything else
Spouse's name based on 7H
If Aquarius/Uranus are residing in 7H, your spouse might get reactions like "what kind of name is that? what does it even mean?" there could be something absurd about the name. they might have 2 names of which one is super modern and belongs to a different culture and the other is a traditional name but they might not use the traditional one.
If Mercury/Virgo is in the 7th house it could be a unisex name. it could be a shorter name consisting of 2 syllables. it's likely to sound elegant and light to the ears rather than heavy. its same for Gemini and in case of Gemini, they could have a lo of nicknames and go by their middle name.
If there's Leo/Sun in the 7th house or 7L with Sun, it could be a popular, viral kinda name. your spouse might be known for their name even if they don't know other people. it can be a regal name with a noble energy to it, an authoritarian male figure in the family might have chosen it so it'll be heavier and strong. it might also literally mean "leon" in their language (either their name or surname), or have meanings like "the chosen one" "selected" or "the sun" if the partner is a woman it'll be a very feminine name but has strong pronounciation. a woman whose 7L is conjunct the Sun has a husband who has an old-fashioned name that means "the sun"
If Scorpio/pluto 7H, your spouse might have a lesser-known name or a second name no one knows about.
If Aries/Scorpio/Mars is in 7H, spouse can have a very straightforward name and have meanings like "brave", "soldier" etc. a woman with 7H Scorpio ruled by 1H Mars had a spouse whose name literally meant "brave soldier"
If Cancer/moon 7H, your spouse's name could be one that's commonly used in their birthplace. it can be a tradition where their family gives the same name or the name of a maternal grandparent. a woman in the family might have picked the name so it can be a softer, more delicate name rather than anything too harsh or fierce.
A guy whose 7L is in Pisces mercury with moon and jupiter has a wife whose name translates to the the crocus flower
traditional astro basics
Day charts and night charts shouldn't be interpreted the same way, sects make a big difference and it determines how challenging Saturn will be for you, how Mars will operate and Jupiter's support.
In diurnal charts, the mother is represented by Venus while in nocturnal charts, the mother is represented by the Moon. The father is represented by Jupiter for nocturnal charts and by the Sun for diurnal charts. a traditional astrologer looking at a client's chart to understand their relationship with their parents would check the condition, house placement and aspects of these specific sect-based planets first.

Juno Personality Chart
Juno is a very useful asteroid for predicting the chart placements of spouse and marriage circumstances. Going one step further, Juno PC works very well to get further info in detail and there's always repeating patterns. I examined nearly 30 charts and here's what came out:
Juno PC placements always activate the axis in the partners' natal chart, it's either a conjunction or opposition. I analyzed the data from 20 of those charts and oppositions showed up slightly more (%52) but it's basically 50/50. Some planets lean more towards showing up as the opposite and some planets lean more towards being conjunct.
Juno moon placement overwhelmingly showed up as the opposite placement to partner's natal chart placements (12 out of 20 were opposite, 6 were same sign). North node also tended to be opposite to partner's natal placements, meanwhile Sun (Juno placement itself) was 50/50 with slight tendency to be opposite (13 conjunctions, 15 oppositions)
Juno PC ascendant seemed very significant throughout these charts, in some cases directly being conjunct to partner's sun/moon, making it a strong indicator. Opposition trend still applies. Juno PC Venus can also be opposite or conjunct to partner's natal charts. PC Mars and Jupiter tend to be more conjunct partner's natal chart placements rather than opposite. So a rough overview, with around 60/70% likelihood:
PC Moon → opposite sign
PC Mercury → opposite sign
PC North Node → opposite sign
PC Jupiter → same sign
PC Mars → more same than opposite
PC Venus → basically 50/50
PC ASC → mixed with slight same-sign tendency
PC Sun → basically mixed
Sign stelliums in Juno PC almost always show up as the same or opposite sign in partner's natal chart. E.g in this one couple, the man has Scorpio stellium in Juno PC and his wife has a Scorpio stellium in her natal chart. Meanwhile, her Juno PC has Virgo stellium and he has Pisces moon-jupiter. His Juno is Sagittarius and she's also Sag ASC.
Kanye West's Juno PC Venus is Libra and Kim K is Libra Sun. Her Juno PC Venus is Scorpio conjunct moon and Kanye is a Taurus Venus and stellium.
Jay Z's Juno PC venus is in capricorn, ruled by Taurus saturn. Beyonce has neither capricorn or cancer, but her moon is in Scorpio. His Juno PC Mars is Pisces and Beyonce is a natal Virgo.
His Juno PC asc is Aries and has 7H Libra moon, Beyonce has that exact axis natally and a 7H Libra stellium.
Beyonce has Libra stellium in Juno PC + Sag Venus and Jay Z is a natal Libra moon and Sag Sun.
i didnt have wifi for a week AGAIN youd think im living in turkmenistan
Little notes on Dignified Venus and Money
In tropical astrology, Venus' dignity is important to judge the flow of money. Traditionally, a dignified Venus is one of the indicators of native being born into a well-off environment and attracting financial ease so it's common for royalty or nepo babies to have a dignified Venus
Queen II. Elizabeth Pisces Venus, Princess Diana Taurus Venus, Prince William Taurus Venus, King III. Charles Libra Venus are some examples from the British royal family. North West Cancer Venus, Lily Rose Depp Cancer Venus, Wonyoung Cancer Venus, Lily Collins Pisces Venus, Hailey Bieber Libra Venus, Chloe Liem (singaporean tiktok inf) Pisces Venus are some examples from well known nepo babies. In almost all of their charts, Jupiter's also aspecting Venus. Jupiter-Venus aspects attract wealth regardless of the sign.
Charts are very complex and no placement no matter the dignity can promise getting rich or being poor or xyz on its own, not everyone with a dignified Venus will make 6+ figures a year. But being born with a domicile or exalted Venus often shows you were born at a financially comfortable period in your family and wealth followed after your birth, especially in contrast to your family's previous financial situation. E.g if your family barely afforded food before you were born, their financial situation allowed them to afford enough food and some luxuries like fruits and desserts when you were born which means you were born into wealth relative to your family's baseline. E.g my dad's company went bankrupt before I was born but my by brother (way older than me) rushed to the pharmacy to get me the most expensive pacifier he could find right after i was born and my dad still comissioned a gold shop to make a custom gold bracelet that has my name engraved on it which explains how a domicile Venus can function. You'll be luckier compared to those around you in attaining wealth and keeping the flow of money, being the nepo baby of your lineage
Islam and Venus
Religions, although generally all are Jupiterian on a baseline level, they're co-ruled by different planets, e.g Christianity is Jupiter-Saturn ruled. 9th century astrologer Abu Ma'shar stated that Islam is governed by Venus-Jupiter in Kitāb al-milal wa-l-duwal.
Abu Ma'shar wrote that when a great conjunction occurred with Venus, it heralded the birth of Islam and the Arab conquests. Venus represents beauty, pleasure, cleanliness, art and passion. Astrologers noted that Islamic culture emphasized ritual washing (5 times a day), sensory appreciation within divine bounds, specific marriage laws, and a holy day on Friday (which is ruled by Venus). One of Allah's names is "Al-Jameel", the beautiful.
Islam differs from most other religions for its' encouragement of indulging in material and sensual pleasures and enjoying what God has blessed you with on earth. Everything you have is given to you by God, so it's considered selfish to not enjoy and not be grateful. Quran explicitly states that gratefulness is one of the highest states of existence you can achieve from which on you unlock endless abundance, and Quran encourages asking for big things from God, because the is the most generous and abundant. Scholars and Quran repeatedly emphasize the importance of asking for grand favors for this reason. The contrast to other religions is importaht, because many religions developed strong currents of world-denial, celibacy, renunciation of beauty or suspicion toward pleasure. Islam does almost the opposite. Marriage is encouraged, eating good food is encouraged, perfume is encouraged, beautiful clothing is encouraged, and gratitude is demonstrated by enjoying God's blessings. Holiness is not based upon austerity and deprivation unlike in certain other religions.
The Quran repeatedly condemns excessive asceticism and self-imposed deprivation:
"Say, who has forbidden the adornment (zinah) of Allah which He has brought forth for His servants and the good things of provision?" (7:32)
"But monasticism they invented; We did not prescribe it for them."
The concept of zinah (adornment) itself is of course. Venusian. The Quran speaks positively of beautiful garments, jewelry, beautification of mosques and beautification of the earth, beautification of yourself and everything around you in general. Beauty becomes morally problematic only when it leads to arrogance, vanity or injustice.
The Prophet ﷺ said "Allah is beautiful and loves beauty." Venusian theology.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
Although cleaning has Virgo associations, the grooming, keeping up personal hygiene and making your environment clean and tidy parts are under Venus' domain. Cleanliness is one of the most emphasized subjects in Quran and Islamic culture says barakah (abundance) doesn't enter unclean homes. One of the famous Hadiths which Muslims live by says, "Cleanliness/purity is half of iman (faith)" (الطُّهُورُ شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ). In Turkic countries which predominantly consist of Muslim populations, the saying "Iman comes from cleanliness" is very widespread (Turkish: temizlik imandan gelir / Uzbek: tozalik imandandir).
Of course, it's also mandatory to do a ritual washing before each prayer, which is 5 times a day.
Smelling good is considered a good deed and Sunnah
Prophet Mohammad expressed that fragrance has been made dear to him, wore fragrance for daily care (especially favored musk), and recommended it to his ummah. It is Sunnah to apply fragrance before Friday prayers, on religious holidays and when receiving guests. However, it is discouraged to wear scents strong enough that they're sensible by other people and it's discouraged for women to wear aphrodisiac scents outside of home.
In Islam, art and aesthetics are based on the principle of doing everything in the most beautiful way (ihsan), deriving its source from the Quran and Sunnah.
Unity (Tawhid) Reflects infinity and the oneness of God, it's one of the core principles of the religion and Islamic art. Repeating motifs and geometric shapes radiating from the center symbolize this belief.
Beauty is a part of Islamic morality
In traditional astrology and esoteric philosophy, Venus isn't just about surface-level attraction; it represents cosmic balance, divine symmetry, and the pulling force of love ('Ishq) that draws everything back to its source. When we look at Islamic art and geometry through this lens, the connection becomes incredibly vivid.
Islamic civilization has viewed art not merely as an aesthetic pursuit, but as a reflection of divine truth and a means of contemplation. In Islamic thought, art is considered a way of comprehending the beauties created by God and seeing God's attributes in them. Art, reflected in the beauty of a flower, the splendor of an architectural structure, or the pen of a calligrapher, is an expression of humanity's admiration for the artistry of its Lord and its desire to draw closer to Him. In this context, Islamic art is not merely ornamentation that appeals to the eye, but also a mirror that purifies the soul, guides humanity towards spirituality, calls to the depths of truth, and allows one to comprehend His power and the perfection in His artistry.
"Understanding Beauty" is understanding existence. Existence is a gift from the Most Beautiful Creator. It is a sign from Him, a blessing. Beauty in existence is not inherent in itself, but rather the result of a manifestation of the Most Beautiful in existence. Existence owes all its meaning and value to this manifestation. Islamic thought, which considers beauty as a part of morality, was born and developed as an activity of understanding. In it, the effort to understand is not an expression of the desire to possess, but of a consciousness of belonging. This can be seen in the relationship that Islamic thought establishes with nature, the concrete form of existence. This relationship gave rise to the perception of beauty in Islamic thought. -Mustafa Uğur Gök
According to Islamic scholars, the ‘courageous’ claims that are the product of an individual’s internal struggles and contradictory state of mind have no place in Islamic art.
“In Islamic aesthetics, art, considered a form of prayer, requires a humble attitude from the artist. The fact that the artist as a subject did not stand out in tradition, and that a privileged class of artists did not emerge, is a result of this humble attitude.”
Throughout history, Sufis have attached special importance to all arts and have encouraged artistry, especially the ones centered on the Quran, like Hat (calligraphy).
Some of the most well known tpyes of Islamic arts include;
Calligraphy: Often considered the highest form of Islamic art. Since the Quran is the literal word of God, writing it beautifully became an act of devotion.
(from left to right made by Ottoman Qur'an by the Turkish calligrapher Qarabash, Turkish Hattats, Hülya Mamati & Nilgün Gedik)
Illumination and Manuscript Arts aka Tezhip in Ottoman tradition: Its purpose is honoring sacred knowledge. The physical manifestation of knowledge is made beautiful because knowledge itself is viewed as noble.
Arabesque: Flowers like roses, tulips, and cypresses became major motifs in Persian, Ottoman and Uzbek art. Paradise is described with rivers, greenery, fruits and garden symbolisms so unsurprising that Islamic decorative arts became filled with floral imagery. This resonates strongly with Venus, whose symbolism across many traditions is linked with gardens, flowers, abundance, and cultivated beauty.
Geometry and Geometric Patterns: The endlessly repeating patterns suggest that creation points beyond itself toward divine infinity. You can never find a true beginning or end to many Islamic geometric patterns. Geometry also reflects the Quranic notion that God created everything according to measure and balance (mizan); everything is created in measure, proportion and equilibrium. Beauty is therefore not random but ordered and harmonious. Venus rules harmony, proportion, symmetry, balance, mathematical beauty, refinement.
Divine Love in Tasawwuf and 12H undercurrents.
A huge amount of Sufi literature revolves around beauty and love, as it is the mystical path of love. For many Sufis earthly beauty reminds one of Divine Beauty, human love becomes a mirror for Divine Love (the basis of the whole doctrine) & as mentioned in previous sections, beauty awakens longing for union with God. Tawhid is one of the core principles of Sufism indicating we are one with the creator and all his creation, there is no seperation. Divine Love often gets misinterpreted by western readers for literal romantic love, but it's the kind of love which transcends that as they unite you with God. This is often triggered after an experience with someone that you feel such fondness towards that they bring you closer to the creator, or lead you to experience him for the first time. Ishq is the supreme spiritual force and the ultimate path to knowing God. It is an intense, all-consuming passion where the seeker (the lover) yearns to dissolve the boundaries of the ego to achieve union with the Divine (the Beloved)
Sufis believe divine love cannot be grasped by the intellect; it is experienced exclusively through the deep, spiritual heart. The qalb (heart) is the spiritual sanctionary. Eventually, worldly attachments are left behind for the sake of divine closeness. Within the heart we come closer and closer to our Beloved (Creator), so close that finally there is no separation as the lover merges into the Beloved, the lover becomes lost in love, “drowned in love’s ocean.” This doctrine directly reflects Venus' exaltation in 12H and Pisces.
Loving someone romantically or platonically is also significant as it's often the starting point that leads a person toward a deeper understanding of spiritual love. In this understanding we can see involvement of Venus in all 3 stages of Taurus - Libra (Ishq-e-Majazi (Metaphorical or Earthly Love) - eventually Pisces, dissolving of material attachments (Ishq-e-Haqiqi (True or Divine Love)
All addictions are a low level search to unite with God, as all desires are also a call from God to find your way to him.
On the Sufi journey we discover that the veil that separates us from the Divine is our ego, our illusory sense of a separate self. We have to “die before you die”, the ego has to be sacrificed; consumed by the fire of divine love. For the Sufi “nothing is possible in love without death,”
Between you and me there lingers an “It is I” which torments me Ah! lift this “It is I” from between us both
Venus also appears in Mevlana (Rumi)'s writings frequently as a motif expressing the ascent from the material world to the spiritual world.
Good Morals & Peace
Islam's greeting itself is "As-salamu alaykum" ("Peace be upon you"). Peace (salam) is one of the religion's most visible social ideals and even one of God's names is As-Salam. Paradise itself is described as an abode of peace.
The Prophet ﷺ taught that even smiling at another person is charity. Cheerfulness, warmth, and pleasantness in social interaction are all strongly encouraged.
Something Quran frequently touches upon is the importance of having good morals, making it essential for Muslims to always work on specific things in this regard. Gossiping, using hurtful words, unprovoked criticism are among the things strongly discouraged. The Quran instructs believers to speak kindly (qawlan ma'rufa), gently (qawlan layyina), and with dignity (qawlan karima). Even when addressing enemies or correcting others, harshness is discouraged whenever possible.
The Quran praises "those who restrain anger and pardon people". Venus seeks reconciliation and social harmony rather than unnecessary conflict.
The Prophet ﷺ encouraged exchanging gifts because it increases love and affection between people. Gift-giving, tokens of affection, and strengthening social bonds are very Venusian themes.
Mercy is one of the central themes of Islam. Every chapter of the Quran except one begins with "In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful."
(Silat ar-Rahim) – Islam places immense emphasis on preserving kinship and social bonds, visiting relatives, and caring for parents and family members. Venus governs relationships and social cohesion.
Backbiting, suspicion, mockery, ridicule, and spreading rumors (fitnah) are all strongly condemned because they damage communal harmony and relationships.
Marriage and Sexuality
Venus is the planet of union and love relationships. Islam places extraordinary emphasis on marriage as half of faith, affection (mawaddah), mercy (rahmah), spouses as garments for one another and fulfilling emotional and physical rights. Islam also places a moral duty on both the wife and husband to take care of each other, and take care of themselves (upkeep with personal beauty, hygiene etc.)
"And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy."
Sexuality is seen as spiritually meaningful and natural.
Women's Place in Islam
In the eyes of God, men and women are considered spiritual equals. The Quran explicitly states that both genders are rewarded equally for their actions and faith. Islam introduced reforms to establish women's rights in 7th century Arabia at a time when women were suffering. Islam made it mandatory for women to have access to financial independence, inheritence, consent in marriage and high societal value.
Financial Independence: A woman’s wealth is entirely her own. She is under no obligation to spend her own money on the household, that responsibility falls entirely on her husband or male relatives.
A marriage is considered invalid without the explicit consent of the bride. She also retains her own family name after marriage, rather than taking her husband's.
Education: The pursuit of education is a religious duty in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad stated that "Seeking knowledge is mandatory upon every Muslim" (which includes both men and women). Women were prominent scholars, jurists, and educators. the Prophet's wife Aisha was one of the primary sources of Islamic law and narration.
on a Lunar note, well-known hadith of the Prophet Muhammad states, "Heaven lies under the feet of your mothers,"
All that being said, there's still soooooooooo much to write on why the ancient astrologers gave the rulership of Venus to Islam
This is so beautiful written. I am in awe, how you so gently explained everything and how hard you must have work to have all this narrated so perfectly. Mashaallah.. 💅😩🎀
thank you my loveee 🤍🌸

“In Islamic aesthetics, art, considered a form of prayer, requires a humble attitude from the artist. The fact that the artist as a subject did not stand out in tradition, and that a privileged class of artists did not emerge, is a result of this humble attitude.”
Throughout history, Sufis have attached special importance to all arts and have encouraged artistry, especially the ones centered on the Quran, like Hat (calligraphy).
Some of the most well known tpyes of Islamic arts include;
All that being said, there's still soooooooooo much to write on why the ancient astrologers gave the rulership of Venus to Islam

notes on beauty
when it comes to physical appearance, looking only at the ASC is inefficient. the ascendant lord, the 2nd house (which specifically governs the face), the moon and its aspects, and any planets casting aspects on the ASC, 2H, moon will influence the appearance.
beauty standards themselves have always shifted based on time, culture and astrological rulership. some examples include:
the renaissance traditional ideal: traditional western astrology heavily favored libra (venusian) and leo (solar) archetypes. beauty back then was defined by clear aristocratic parameters. a "rosy and fair" complexion is linked to Air signs and harmonious venus-jupiter aspects.
certain traditional principles also state that having masculine planets (mars, sun, jupiter) on the ascendant actually grants a woman highly feminine features and a powerful allure that magnetically attracts the opposite sex.
in steppe cultures, such as among the Turks, features like dark, thick eyebrows and high cheekbones have always been highly praised. these sharp, defined features along with intense, commanding eyes are entirely governed by mars. Turco-Islamic astrologers explicitly recognized mars as the source of a magnetic, piercing gaze and hypnotic allure.
miscellaneous
1H mars gives the type of beauty that makes people fight for them, cause conflict, get witch allegations, maybe you abuse ur man but ur face card so tea he cant leave (jokes but yeah)
venus making harmonious aspects to the ascendant and moon are safer and more direct ways to predict it's going to bestow conventional beauty, giving symmetrical and balanced features.
[tropical] if ascendant lord is venus exalted or domicile, very strong indication of said features above. but in case of exaltation, native is carefree in their approach to beauty and prioritize internal beauty. as a result, even if they are "mid", other people would still find their presence enchanting and alluring. one of the most beautiful woman i've seen has taurus ascendant ruled by 6H libra venus (sidereal aries/virgo), another is also taurus ascendant ruled by 11H pisces venus and she has 1H mars also
[tropical] taurus, libra + luminary ascendants are nearly always conventionally attractive. taurus influenced beauty is grounded but wildly magnetic, libra influenced beauty is icy and aristocratic, luminaries give "noor"
1H saturn + 6H venus are common in models or people who draw in attention for their looks. 1H saturn men especially stand out a lot
in sidereal, malefics in cardinal houses as well as debilitated venus, mars, moon aspecting ascendant give women conventional feminine beauty
1H/2H neptune gives otherworldly, ethereal beauty
different countries have beauty standards associated with different planetary energies. e.g south korea highly favors mercurial and saturnian beauty. central asian/turks highly favor moon+mars, arab standards favor venus+jupiter etc.
mercury and neptune together give anime-like features, which is not often discussed but it's one of the most sought-after looks
The liver was known in ancient times as the organ that contains more blood (life) then any other organ. It is ruled by the guru JUPITER So it was sacred and seen in poetry, divination, witchcraft as the most valuable. In arabic most parents say towards their kids (you’re my liver) as (you’re my life)
jupiter
both in pre-islamic oriental beliefs and in contemporary islamic culture, thursdays (especially the night leading into friday) has always been revered as a sacred time. it's a window when spiritual gates swing wide open, cosmic veils thin, our deeds and intentions are presented to the Divine. it's one of the most fertile times for praying, manifesting and blessings.
it's a tradition in multiple cultures (slavs, turks, arabs) to drink coffee sprinkled with cinnamon on thursdays. thursday carries the spirit of jupiter.
burning incense or wearing perfumes rich in cinnamon and cloves brings warmth and wealth, while saffron, oud and amber elevate your spiritual alignment. in fact, just catching the scent of saffron can instantly brighten the mind and pull you back into optimism. it is well known that saffron is a great medicine for depression.
How to distinguish Jyestha from Mula :
As said in a previous post: Mulas are very much generous
@enirves said that they buy a lot of stupid stuff which is true
Mulas have strict manners, they will dislike people who have poor manners like not saying hello, not waiting for your turn to speak, anyway they hate impoliteness
Jyesthas men are rude when they haven't matured, they can have poor manners like yelling at people in public
Jyesthas in general tend to like competition, they want to compare themselves to others
Ketu will have the opposite energy, they will win but don’t care about how others perceive them
Both of them however have the annoying tendency of not answering to people when they don’t feel like it even in mid conversation. If they don’t like what is going on they will just get up and leave like 🚶♀️
Jyestha men will probably have a s*xual harassment suit filled against them in their life because they can’t control themselves around women especially if the woman is curvy, the story of Indrā being cursed by a sage for sleeping with his woman is enough to understand
Jyestha tends to be very organized
Mula women tend to be lesbians if not they will probably be very feminine like obnoxiously so, they have deeper voices too
Jyesthas talk a lot
And the one thing that never misses is Jyesthas have dimples it’s very very common
"Both of them however have the annoying tendency of not answering to people when they don’t feel like it even in mid conversation. If they don’t like what is going on they will just get up and leave like" i do this all the time lmaaooo
and another addition, jyestha women tend to have high pitched voice and mulas are more reclusive

just as i was like i dont want aquas no more my love island fav sean turns out to be aquarius smhhh but hes so hottttt
list of my favorite synastries
1H jupiter - jupiter actually blesses the connection. i find that usually jupiter person is older or more experienced/wiser, so the jupiter person has a lot to share and house person learns a lot. religion, sociology, spirituality, future goals, travel etc. become common discussion topics. house person cares about jupiter's opinions and advices, jupter person feels lighthearted and amused in the presence of the house person. often found in age gap friendships and relationships
2h moon - moon person has intuitive understanding of what the house person needs to feel secure and comfortable. moon person wants to feed the house person (literally, with food, money, and compliments which will feed into their self esteem) and are sensitive to where they might be lacking so they can fill it. moon person will want to have high end luxurious experiences with the house person so they can go on trips, shopping, expensive restaurants etc. together. house person feels deeply safe with the moon person and it forms a strong attachment. in friendships as well, the planet person will be occuppied with the house person's comfort and nourishment
similar results with venus/sun/mars/saturn there as well but moon is my favorite
venus-mars conjunct/same sign - this is a very generic one but yes, whether you are the venus or mars person it gives strong magnetic spark and attraction, clicking so fast that you skip multiple stages of a relationship/friendship.
10H mars/venus - strong potential to do and accomplish things together. starting projects, talking about future goals, planning the next move etc. highly action orianted. while planet person pushes the house person to do bigger things, both sides motivate each other to take action. they also look good together in public.
4h moon/mars - very domestic and familial, both of them feel comfortable and safe around each other. planet person can be protective over the house person and house person will be immediately drawn to the planet person and want to be around them. unlike 10h overlay, comfort is prioritized over public involvements or ambition. topics of real estate and internal renovations come up
8h overlays - can be very destructive and binding, but its good for 💲💲 (as 2h) and deep transformative experiences. can't write about 8h too much in this post because it's very complex and has pros and cons that need to be considered. danger zone
north node/rahu conjunct jupiter - both sides embody and fuel into each others "type"; the connection feels like a fantasy and its very expansive. jupiter person can fullfil nodal person's deepest wishes and vice versa. religious/spiritual views match and fuel each other
