turns out the bread i baked there had started to mold, the cheddar cheese had started to mold, and the chicken stock I used for the soup's best before date was over a year ago. I found all of this out a day or so later and I'm now still dealing with the gastroenteritis symptoms

Did the doctor specifically say yogurt or can you get away with a probiotic gummy? I’ve got IBS in the “things sit too long without being digested and start fermenting” style and have fucked up my gut bacteria a few times because of it. Taking a probiotic gummy helps way more than the prescription meds my GI doctor gave me ever did.
