Aaron would practice being very still. At first it was so Tilda wouldn't notice him. As a kid he would win red light green light for how quick he was able to switch from moving to being like a statue during rounds. Eventually he would pretend to be a doctor despite Tilda shattering his dreams, holding his hands steady, imagining his hands graceful and skilled when performing surgery. Even if it was just pretend and nothing would ever come of it.
But then, after years of almost quitting, he's in the surgeon's room, every limb still except his hands, and the operation is a success
Aaron Minyard became my favourite character when neil threw a glass of water at him and he didn't even react and just smacked it away from him while it was in the air (that just shows how much i hated every character in the 1st book except neil obvs and somehow its still one of my fav book series of all time). He solidified his position as my fav when he killed drake. I miss Aaron everyday.
