ohhh that's an interesting one :D sorry i let it rot in my inbox for so long omfg

so, i have a few ideas and thoughts:

aaron is 100% the type of guy to treat katelyn to a fancy-ish dinner every once in a while. they're broke and katelyn doesn't really want anything properly fancy, but aaron likes spoiling her. their favorite part is always when they go back home, change into comfortable clothes and lounge on the couch with the wine they had in the house because katelyn doesn't want them to pay for any expensive one at the restaurant. they either just talk and cuddle, make out and fuck until they pass out on that couch, or watch some movie and make stupid bets on who will fall asleep first.

i think once they graduate and don't have to sneak around/wait for an empty dorm/work around their schedule as much (aaron isn't at the court for most of the day lmao), they try to set up at least one regular date night a week. they rotate what it is, but without everyone breathing down their necks i think they go out more.

dates where they drive out to a really pretty remote place and just stay in their car. picnic dates. i'd like to think both would still want to do something sport-related, so maybe they try to find something that works with their job schedule and make it a date sometimes? i am thinking about something like hiking or cycling.

i am holding onto dancing aaron like my life depends on it... maybe a club night every once in a while.

kateaaron on a "what video games i can absolutely beat his/her ass at" quest. going to an arcade as a joke but it stops being a joke as soon as they spot a ddr machine

A lot of Andrew's hatred for Caitlin goes on the fact that in their deal Andrew put the Pacific term is not letting anything get in between him and Aaron's relationship, but with Aaron's relationship with Caitlin it did exactly that.

Aaron was able to ignore his problems with Andrew pushing them aside and forget about them because Caitlin was a good distraction, because Aaron had grown comfortable in their silence in his own unresolved anger towards Andrew, and if Neil hadn't interfered eventually Aaron would have left Andrew and unknowingly permanently severed ties with him

This is why the twins had to have a really complicated relationship because can you imagine that conversation? Aaron’s just starring at Andrew as he talks about his “drug induced feelings” like…what the fuck are you taking?! 🤣

Takes the absolute piss out of him and honestly even knowing it’s not because of medication that Andrew feels like this, Aaron would become stone cold sober.
