New details for Colt and Scoops!
They work in interfering with the protagonist as is (from what I have learnt from the pilot) the overall goal of Farcade. But the ways they got about it is very much a "has the skills and gear but cannot fully act on it"
Prime example being that Colt has the half assed skill to interact/hit objects from 200-300 meters out (not super well but within five shots with good scope and wind) which in classical arcade game terms is across the world. The issue becomes then that Colt cannot directly harm the protagonist, so he has to do work arounds, using pot shots to distract protags, rubber bullets to mimic steps getting closer to spook horror protags, firecrackers, decoys, planted munitions, etc etc.
Colt has all the tools but can never use them to harm the protagonist. This extends to social interactions as well, full military gear, even on a Hawaiian shirt with short is too strong and distracting so he sorts to large ponchos or ghillie suits and masks to play the role of "the big silent bush monster" so Scoops can do the friendly talking
Onto Scoops now! We have paused hammering out the details as of now but the general idea is that Scoops sabotages by taking and hiding collectables to slow the protag, as well as working as the friendly face of their duo
