Hols lays nestled to Veronica on the cramped hospital bed. "Y'know I've been meaning to ask you something" She asked the tired Vix. "Hmmn?" Hols grunts back, "you spent so much time opening old psychological scars lately correct?". The fox shuffles over to face her "Yes I did and I don't regret it if that's what you're asking" "I know, I looked over the camera feed of that night..didn't know you could smile like that." "What do you mean? "Hols asks. "Well no offense, but you usually have a neutral face or look like you're five minutes away from crying most of the time..". "None taken" The Vix snorts "What's got you thinking about this right now?". "It's simple. you never speak of the physical scars. Outside of the finger scars on your right hand " She states while tracing the long faint pale line running down Hols arm" . "What...What about them?" The Vix stammers. "Well each one tells a story? and I'm not gonna lie I was fascinated by the absolute road map on your body when I was getting you into those scrubs". Hols noticeably a little flustered. "I-I uh see. well um. what about them?". "She picked apart your mental scars to help right? So why don't I help with your physical ones?". "How so?" Hols nervously asks, "It's simple!" Veronica states sitting up in the bed You sit up. remove your gown and I'm going to point at a scar and you tell me it's origin. embrace that memory and if it begins to get to be too much we can take a break ok?". "I I can do that" stammers Hols as she sits up on the edge of the bed sliding her top off.

"Good girl~ Let's begin!" Veronica coos. "hmmm let's see. Ah! what about this one here?" she asks gently tracing the wider scar running down the Vix's shoulder, her skin gently quivers "Tha-That one's from one of my earlier deployments before I ended up here... old merc days" The vix let's out a deep sigh. "A simple recon mission that went south after we got ambushed by the enemies scout chassis. I remember running as fast as I could through the underbrush with what was left of my team.. fire showering us.. picking some off as we pushed forward. Radio chatter screaming for us to make it to the the evac sight as fast as we could... ducking through an old crumbling garrison. the evac ship just barely in view. barely any of us left.. I remember my vision tunneling as I sprinted to the ship half dragging a comrade." The vix inhales sharply "As I tossed them onto the bed of the craft I remember hearing the piercing scream and roar of a shell crashing into the walls of the structure last few things I remember is the white hot sting of shrapnel slamming into me as I dived into the craft. barely clinging to consciousness as I was bleeding out on the cold steel floor." Veronica hand's Hols a cup of tea. "I see. old war scars.. I've pulled shrapnel out of many infantry and pilots in my time. Never got the perspective of the soldier that received the wound.. do you wish to continue? ".

"Yes" The vix sips from the cup. "Ok. lets see lets see. this one looks interesting." she traces the spindly one running down her chest just barely brushing her breast. "What about this one hmm?~". "oh..uh that one! my first dance with death under Leones hand.. got issued my first proper chassis that wasn't the rattlecans my unit used to use.. BlackMoth V.1.. my first taste of conflict under her leash.. I remember flying down the barren desert trying to meet up with 0452 and some other pilots who where pinned down for support fire.. The enemy must've anticipated this because I remember getting pelted with low powered AP rounds..I could feel them chipping away at my armor left arm unresponsive after a while.. managed to pick off the main threats with my cannon.. warning signals screaming at me blending in with comms chatter from Leones and 0452. PULL OUT! PULL OUT! NOW! we managed to get all but one out. "Hols Sniffles before taking another sip. "a sniper mech wanted one last laugh I guess.. one last thunderous shot blasted through my cockpit missing me by centimeters.. showering me in slag burning through my jump suit.. before I could think the second shot rang across the desert gouging a slice out of my chassis head.. I don't remember much besides flying into the hanger barely holding on covered in blood, sweat, and bit of vomit clinging to my muzzle.. I..I remember my cockpit cracking open to be greeted by Leones and 0452 they dragged me out onto a bed like the one I sit on right now.. was grounded for a couple weeks as the techs worked on a newer chassis for me. Most Handlers would've punished a Hound for such results... but she just said "You did what you could. and it was still impressive. good job hound.."

"I see.." veronica mutters.. I think you did good today Hols.. as for a reward. I'll let you trace my scars..". "Wha-" before she could finish Veronica takes off her med tech jacket and gown before carefully draping it on the adjacent chair showing her soft but faintly scarred body her tags gently jingle with the movement. "Asks away fox~" She slyly remarks. Hols growing noticeably more flustered. face redder than a thruster on cool down. "I uh.." she shakily places her hand on her shoulder "What about this one?" Hols nervously asks. "Ah a good starter.. I was in the middle of heavy fighting bullets cracking and wizzing past me running towards a downed pilot. I remember with the help of another medic cracking their cockpit or what was left of it open. bullets still pinging off the totaled mech. the pilot.. poor soul was barely clinging on but we managed to get them onto the stretcher.. as we sprinted back to the trenches using the dust kicked up by enemy fire as a barrier. or so I thought.. I remember feeling the white hot searing sting of a round ripping through my shoulder.. instead of faltering I reached into the pilots jumpsuit and jabbed a combat stim in and just rode the adrenaline till we got back to the makeshift hospital we set up in the belly of a blown out building. before collapsing on the cot near the pilot. She pulled through... " She looks down at Hols Hand. she lets out a soft chuckle "such is the life of a soldier eh?" "....Yeah" Hols demeanor drops a bit.

Veronica gently holds the Vix's Hand "Mutual pain breeds mutual bonds at least" She brushes Hols hair aside and leans in "I guess your righ-" before the vix could finish she felt veronica embrace her with a kiss. their tags jingle against each others "Fuck I'm sorry..." veronica stammers. "It's ok.." Hols pulls her closer for another deep kiss. "Hehehe I like this side of you~" Veronica snickers "How about I add a new story to your body, fox~". Hols Smirks. "Have at it. puppy~". A grin spreads across Veronica's face "Oh you little shit..Time to put the oh so scary vix in her place~". "Wait wha-" Hols finds herself pinned. "Don't fret I'm a professional after all~" Veronica leans into the one unscarred part of Hols Shoulder. "You ready~?" She whispers into the Vix's ear. "Ye...yeah" Her heartbeat could short a monitor at this point. "Good~"

Before the vix could think She feels the slow and sharp sting of the Hound's teeth sinking into her flesh "HMMmMMMNGG!...mmmmmf~" as fresh blood trickles down her breast. "There we go~ " Veronica chuckles licking Hols blood off her teeth" she leans over grabbing a bottle and a box. "Alright Kit let's clean ya up!" Before Hols could respond she feels the cold fiery sting of disinfectant on the fresh wound letting out a pathetic yelp "Oh hush can't have you getting an infection!" the cool feeling of a bandage pressing against Hols shoulder feels like heaven in the moment of heat. "Don't worry I'll be tending to this wound personally~" she snickers kissing Hols on the cheek. "Oh? seems your friend down there really liked it~" The Flustered Vix looks down at her scrubs. "I'm sorry..". "Why? hmm? not like I felt it poke me last night~" she gently slides her fingers down the Vix's quivering Stomach. "Hmm?~" as she gently grips it. "mmmmmmmpfh~". "I said hush~" Veronica laughs "It's a medic's job to tend to her patients hmm~?" She gently grips Hols Breast with her free hand leaning in for another kiss while playing with the tender pieces of the Vix. Hols is barely holding on before with a sharp pant "Fu-f-fffffff-fuuuck!" she bucks her hips. "Oh!" Veronica laughs. "lil too pent up where we~?" she snickers while wiping her hand off. "oh don't look at me like that.. Apex predator my ass~ I thought vixens where more dominant than Hounds.. Not complaining. you make some cute noises~" Hols Snarls a bit. "I fucking said Hush! or do I need to bite deeper?" she chcuckles. "Wher...Where did you learn to bite like that ? Hols pants. "From you. gotta say you are a bad influence in all the right ways to be honest~" she chuckles. "now you stay put while i get some clean scrubs and lunch.. gods forbid anyone walked in on this.. you got lucky being put in a low traffic war-" Veronica pauses.

"what is it?" Hols Pants out. "fuck. was there always a camera in here?" Veronica asks in a shaky tone. "Yeah this is the high risk war- OH SHIT! FUCK FUCK!" The vix bolts up trying to gather herself.

"Was it worth it?" veronica asks trying to grab two trays with shaky hands. "Y..Yeah" Hols stutters taking a sheepish bite of what the medical staff consider to be "Chicken". "G-good" Veronica stutters out scrambling to get dressed. "Take care Kit~" I'll be back in a bit ok?

"ye..yeah I'll well... I'll be here." "Good." Veronica smirks at the tense vix before exiting the room.
