After over four months of training with the rings, I finally feel confident about my ability to perform the ring muscle up. It's extremely rewarding to finally get this move down consistently. All I need to do now is work on my form, locking out a bit more, and using my legs less. The hardest part about this move is getting comfortable with the false grip. Big shout-out to @hashtown for his YouTube tutorials. They helped me tremendously. If you haven't checked him out, go to YouTube and search for Strength Side. The dude is legit! If you don't have a set of rings, do yourself a favor and get a set or find a gym that does. It's worth the investment. You can hang them anywhere that can support your body weight. I can take my jump ropes and rings anywhere and get a quality cardio and strength workout. Rings intensify every calisthenics move because of the stability required to operate them effectively. There's a reason why Olympic gymnasts specializing in rings are so strong and jacked. #ringworkout #calisthenics #calisthenicsworkout #jumprope #jumpropetofreedom #saturdayworkout #saturdayvibes #movement #ftness #gymnasticsrings #fortlee #strength #strengthperformancecenter #bodyweightworkout #getafterit #grinding #jumpropeveteran #rva #falsegrip #muscleup #ringmuscleups #ringmuscleup (at Fort Lee, Virginia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3z2pWvlvlC/?igshid=1u5gzz5s1dhf
