alright this is gonna be a long ass post so here we go let’s do this

so first off i’d like to state that vicky, kate and cherith constantly disagree about canon facts. often times kate or cherith will answer a question for vicky to later disregard it and change it completely, which is how we end up with messes like squirrelflight being told she was barren and then…not…being barren. vicky would constantly ignore the other erins opinions and decisions, and since vicky was the original editor it caused a lot of plot holes and issues in the series. 

in august 2016 vicky suddenly came forward on her Facebook stating that su susann (a random person no one has ever heard of or knows anything about) would be answering fan questions regarding family trees/characters etc and that her word was canon. vicky messaged the wiki editors herself to clarify that yes, su can speak for her regarding any character deaths/family trees/character descriptions.

nothing about su is known - her name is (most likely) a pseudonym like the erins, and her facebook page reveals nothing about her or who she is. the wiki editors and fans were pretty skeptical but hey, vicky said it was alright so that must mean it’s okay. 

su later states on the warriors forum that she was acting as vicky’s editor, clarifying family trees and checking over vicky’s work on the novellas, and revising vicky’s notes when answering fan questions on facebook. vicky stated in october 2016 that su had indeed helped her write pinestar’s choice - and that su was not an official editor or writer and that she was simply a hardcore fan. 

one of the main things that su starts adding in are missing kits - that is unnamed kits in the original series, giving them names and descriptions. she starts adding more, attaching parents and creating family trees for a lot of the background characters in the series. as time goes on her descriptions become more and more outlandish (think a 12 y/o deviantart wc oc bad) and she starts coming up with ridiculous character deaths for characters that die off-page (one notably being a riverclan cat that had gotten caught in a fishing net, had to have their leg amputated, and then died from blood loss). more and more her additions to the series go from “this random kits name was “____” to brightflower is now in the dark forest because she was upset that her kits died and now she’s evil” 

so vicky publishes spottedleaf’s heart and gets a SHIT TON of criticism on it. it’s an awful book, almost everyone in it is completely OOC, and it’s an awful message to have in a children’s book series. people are furious and disgusted over this book (which they should be). a lot of people start placing blame on su - that thistle/spotted was her idea and that most of the plotlines/decisions were hers. i’m not sure how much involvement su had with the actual book being vicky’s “editor” but vicky never denied the criticism and she never addressed the issues people had with the book basically just saying “its my book if u don’t like it then don’t read it” 

and then one day vicky just. throws su completely under the bus - stating that “su’s ideas were never meant to be canon, they were just fan ideas, i never took them seriously.” and the fandom just FLIPS. Months and months of this have gone on and vicky never once thought to say “hey these aren’t ACTUALLY canon btw”. The wiki editors have to undo and delete hundreds of edits to the wiki, the entire time people were led to believe that this stuff was actually canon, vicky had STATED su’s comments to be canon, and she just threw her under the bus to avoid the criticism she’s been receiving and blaming it all on her.  

vicky shortly after announces that she’s leaving the erins team altogether, and su’s facebook page is deleted.

the more convinced I am that Sans is not, in fact, from the world of Undertale

it may be likely that Gaster is “the man who speaks in hands”

but “the man who came from the other world”

is even more suspicious
