He is incredibly traumatized (he was separated from his mother at around age 6 and was an orphan on the run, having to do awful things to survive) yet also compartmentalizes to a point that feels like he can't remember much of what happened to him. It may just be the writers not wanting to actually explore the trauma they wrote him to have, but I prefer to think he is a system host who is somewhat cut off from those memories.

Gemini Man

While it's definitely not canon nor even implied that Gemini has DID/OSDD I absolutely see him as such. In his game canon, he can create holographic copies of himself (while only one is used in the original, he's also been shown to be able to have up to four) that move and act independently from his primary body. In his CD data in MM&B, this copy is described as an "alter ego" of his. Tangentally related, in his appearance in the Archie Mega Man Comics, during an event where his body is being controlled by an outside force (simplified for spoiler purposes), it appears that his copy can act completely seperately and hold its own memories, despite the state of the body manifesting it, implying a degree of seperation when it comes to the copies vs the body. And also honestly that situation as a whole was probably traumatizing to hell and back for him so it'd make sense. Also also, I like him :]

The creator said they're canonically not a system(due to not wanting to misrepresent DID, which is extremely fair), but they're so system coded to me. RGB is "up front" most of the time, but when water gets into his vents (he's a TV head), Negative gets summoned. Negative doesn't speak and his motivations are still unclear, but he often takes the "survive at any cost" approach if the protagonists are in a dangerous situation. I like to think he's a subversion of the "evil alter" stereotype, and headcanon him as a protector alter! Also RBG being bright and colorful and energetic while Negative is quiet and goth and edgy is peak vibes. They've been comfort characters of mine for many years too 💜
