Squat School 👨🏫 Hey Guys it’s week 4th the final episode of Squat School, this week we are removing the bench and performing a full squat. This will allow us to squat deeper and incorporate full range of motion. When placing the barbell on your back you need to place it on the fleshiest bit (avoiding boney areas) aim to rest the bar on your traps for cushioning. The muscles used to perform this exercise are your Quadriceps (front of legs), Hamstrings (back of legs, Glutes (bum) and Core (stomach). - The main area being your Qauds and your Hamstrings and Glutes are secondary muscles that assist with the lift. Now we are hitting full depth squats your Hamstrings and Glutes will play a larger role in the movement. - ✔️Points to remember: ✔️Feet shoulder width apart. ✔️Keep your knees out with the directions of your toes. ✔️Keep your shoulder blades pulled back. ✔️Core in tight. ✔️Chest kept up high. ✔️Push back through your hips. ✔️Squeeze your bum at the top of the movement to reset your hips. - If you missed the previous weeks make sure you head back and attempt them first before this exercise. - If you struggle to get a full depth squat you can find stretches on my page to help you get deeper. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #fitspo #eatclean #transformation #life #lifestyle #gym #fitfam #fatloss #training #gains #abs #workout #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #gymlife #bodytransformation #burnfat #cardio #instagood #squats #squatfix #squattechnique #technique #howto #plymouth (at The Lemon Frog Fitness Company)
