📋What was your main goal for the story and/or writing experience? Do you think that you achieved it?

for the light of hidden flowers!

I had a lot of goals for Hidden Flowers. Overall, I wanted to explore what it means to be a parent who has experienced trauma. I thought that Adar deserved a softer landing, but also needed to give him space to examine the trauma that he went through and actually process it. That required a setting where he wasn't under the constant pressure to fight for the survival of the child/children in his charge.

Though there are things that I would tweak, I think that I achieved those goals!
