marc is at his MOST interesting when he is on the backfoot and winning is not guaranteed (or is really hard/tenuous) because it turns him evil and desperate and into a mean little control freak but unfortunately for ME i’m not observing him being evil and desperate from behind a protective layer of distance and time and hindsight i’m WATCHING him do it rn in live action and frankly it is also turning me evil !!!!!!!
