Reel-to-Reel to Real (Too Real)

guys i gotta say i agree with ryan gosling on this one. you couldn't pay me any amount of money to go to space. you couldn't bribe me with anything and you sure as hell couldn't reassure me with any statistics or schematics. i would start biting huge raw chunks out of people's arms and faces before i let them put me in space. my bday is january 28 and i do believe the universe has a sense of humor

phone and laptop storage both struggling under the weight of the five trillion photos i've taken of the damn beach and i refuse to delete a single one of them

typing something insane and then saving it to drafts instead of posting it bc i realize that's just the hot dogs talking

yapping with my roomie and i realized how thanks to my time in the dorm that there's a decent pool of movies and shows i have a vague, piecemeal knowledge of because i would periodically glance over at the tv while 2 of my other roommates were constantly watching random stuff. people ask me "have you seen [xyz movie/show]?" and i go yeah, but only parts of it, from the other end of the room, in between ichthyology essay paragraphs. but i remember sort of liking what i could mostly see!

my educator training today has me meeting in a building in a more obscure part of the grounds that my manager referred to as just "the Learning Place"... i have to take this obscure back road to access another obscure back road behind a different company building... i feel like i'm about to Learn what my kidney looks like on the outside of my body

as someone who was completely blindsided by how much i loved iron lung and how viciously simon wedged himself into my brain, i have a sort of "i'm not locked in here with you: you're locked in here with me" type reaction to seeing posts where people are like "wuhhhh tumblrinas couldn't ship grace with a rock alien so they had to bring in some other handsome guy from another movie" because, to me, bloodymary is a rescue mission for my wonderful friend who looks like chewed beef jerky first and a whimsical yaoi experience distantly second
