I can't ignore the fact that Tyler made sure her dead flowers were wrapped in black and white and that the note was also black and white because he knows she has an allergy but Enid drank a coffee with colorful syrups, didn't take her anti-allergic meds and wore bright colored clothing while smiling and dancing to humiliate her in front of the entire school because she thought Wednesday was lying to maintain her "tragic, lonely goth girl aesthetic".

(Honestly, I find that description of Wednesday very humiliating, and personally, I would never speak that way about my friends and that too behind their back. But i do like Enid and Wednesday's friendship so I'm willing to overlook it.)

Enid did all of that when she was on good terms with Wednesday and then when she was a little mad at her.

Tyler did all of that for her while he wanted to kill her.

In s1 the difference is even more stark, he and Xavier are romantically interested in her, so they treat her boundaries differently than Enid does. For her birthday, Xavier designed a Gothic cake, and Tyler chose dark chocolate ganache because he wanted to stick to her preferences and boundaries.

Enid... added a pink balloon.

For her birthday, Enid made her a snood which did not match her aesthetic at all but she still forced her to wear it while Tyler acknowledged that while the coffee doesn't match her aesthetic he only did it to do something special for her. And on their birthday dinner/date he took her to a crypt, got her favourite flower: a black dahlia, made their cutlery look like weapons, made black and white popcorn buckets, got an old fashioned film projector and tortured her for fun.

Again and again, the contrast in their relationships is shown through how Enid and Tyler treat Wednesday's boundaries and allergy.

There are sounds of cheers and crying and the two people hug each other as they exchange the flags. The man at the doorway then waved kisses to the crowd within the pride parade.

The Tweet says: "NO YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HE WAS WAVING THE PORTUGUESE FLAG BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE A PRIDE FLAG AND THEY TRADED FLAGS AND HE'S SO EMOTIONAL TO GET HIS OWN PRIDE FLAG I'M EMOTIONALLY RUINED"

For context, apparently they were worried that maybe he's a nationalist because he was waving the Portuguese flag and some nationalists opposing the pride march were waving that flag. But upon interacting with him, it turns out he didn't have have a pride flag and he wanted to wave *a* flag in support of the pride march. So they had an exchange and now he has his own pride flag 😭🥹.

This elderly gentleman lives alone in Porto, when he saw the march coming up his street all he knew was he wanted to participate, so he ran home to get the only flag he had to wave as they passed by, when they did he was overcome with emotion and called over one of the activists, they hugged and exchanged flags, he felt so overwhelmed that he could only hold it and cry.

This isn't a story about a closeted elderly man, António lives and has been living alone for many years now and that little moment made him feel included in something for the first time in many years.

First off, the endless “tell, don’t show” routine. Scott was sold to us as this messianic alpha wolf who’d save the day, the world, the universe, probably the local dog park too… except he never did. He stayed the exact same bland, flat, self-righteous character from start to finish, with the moral compass of a middle-schooler and a bizarre ability to take credit for things other characters actually achieved.

And Derek Hale. Ugh, Derek. Reduced to a decorative torso with a tragic backstory, a slab of beef. The constant retcons shredded whatever worldbuilding the show had left, and the forced ships cheapened every single character they touched. As for the “movie”? Please. That’s fanfiction with a budget, and in my personal canon it does not exist.

And yes — because I know you’re curious — my favorite character has always been Uncle Peter. Obviously. And I ship Isaac with Jackson, but don't ask the reason 🤣

Now, I’ve always thought the whole “True Alpha” thing was one giant scam. My theory? There is no such thing as a True Alpha. When Derek stepped down, that Alpha spark didn’t magically manifest in Scott’s soul — it just jumped to the nearest Hale. And technically, Scott was bitten by Peter, which makes him, in a sense, a Hale pack wolf anyway. That’s always been my take.

And right up until the very end, I was dying for Deaton the vet to turn out to be the real villain — the puppet-master quietly steering the chaos. In my head, he’d been manipulating everything from the start: getting rid of the Hales, clearing the board, and installing a young, naïve Alpha he could play like a chess piece. And honestly, if you look back, there are breadcrumbs all over the seasons hinting that every “worst possible outcome” happened because Deaton was nudging them straight into it.

Now about Underworld. It's this endlessly milked saga — five movies deep and counting — starring Kate Beckinsale doing slow-motion flips in black leather while looking perpetually annoyed (but I like them, I swear!)

The pitch? A war between vampires and werevolves. But we call them “Lycans", because they’re supposed to be a different breed of werewolf. So you know, werewolves but make it fancy.

The first three? Genuinely good. And we are stalking about Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans — a prequel nobody asked for but we all ended up enjoying anyway.

The characters were actually written with care, especially Lucian. Michael Sheen made him a full-on powerhouse: charismatic, magnetic, and even though he’s not tall, he commands every frame like it owes him rent.

Then the studio got greedy. They kept making movies without the actor playing Michael, the original hybrid — and the whole thing nose-dived. They tried to shove in another generic handsome dude, but the soul of Underworld was Michael. Take him out and what’s left? A moody leather fashion show with fangs.
