Put in the tags the completely finished (whether cancelled or wrapped up on its own terms) TV series that has YOUR perfect ending, however you define that
Please don’t include huge spoilers for the specifics of the endings, and it would also make me happy if people don’t use this to talk about the shows whose endings they hated

Persepolis, Marjane Satrapi
You will never 100% idiotproof your creative work & if you try to, you will only succeed in smothering the soul out of it. btw
Reading update! Because why not!
Perelandra by C.S. Lewis. This is really interesting, but more of a theological exercise than a novel so far. No one does theological exercises quite like Lewis though, and while there are elements I consider dated, it's all heady and thought-provoking and sometimes chilling, so I can't truly complain. I did expect more...moving around though lol. I'm 2/3 done with it
The Collected Works of Billy the Kid by Michael Ondaatje. Sometimes I know what we're talking about and sometimes I just don't. Some passages have really stuck out to me and others have quite literally made me feel ill. I picked up some books on Billy the Kid at the library yesterday in the hopes that it'd give me the context I need to decipher these poems. About 2/3 done
Dragonflight by Anne McCaffrey. This is....something. I didn't expect the writing to be so bad...and I certainly didn't expect the SA. It's a small audiobook so I'll finish, but it has been a surprise to say the least. 56% done
The Eyes of the Amaryllis by Natalie Babbit. Very early on in this but it has an absolutely gorgeously written prologue. I'm feeling it
To give myself motivation to complete a scary but necessary task, I let myself order some books. It was a bit too open-ended of a reward, so I ended up culling my huge book outlet shopping cart and heading over to ebay to order two books which I don't own and have no way of reading in physical copies without owning them myself (my library doesn't have them and they're out of print). So now I'm happily waiting for The Summer Kingdom and In Winter's Shadow by Gillian Bradshaw to arrive ☺️

You know what that means?

Hades gives Orpheus a trial he knows he himself could never succeed at, but it isn’t just that Hades knows he would turn around. Hades has been failing this trial every single year. He shows up too early. He turns too soon. He is so full of doubt that even the natural order of the world, that Persephone will return to him, is not something he can trust. Hades would fail the trial he has given Orpheus, and he already has. All alone, his blood runs thin.
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
