The Cringe Is Dead Long Live The Cringe

I keep going back to these images and trying to figure out how this even makes sense as a tantalizing night out. Dropping up to $5,000+ for just 2 hours of karaoke where you have to both get everyone's songs in and guzzle all that booze lest you incur more fees. I keep tripping up on the one with up to 30 guests. All I keep imagining is a bunch of incredibly drunk stock brokers fist fighting in front of Macy's herald square because only five people got to sing in between their shots.

how does this have under 10,000 notes in spite of my having seen it regularly for the entire time I’ve been on here?

These employees are doing important and laudable work in response to being forced into a bad situation but I’m glad they still took the opportunity to call themselves “United Wizards”

woke up in a panic from the sound of an explosion. saw it was bright out, thought, "oh that's it, they dropped the bomb." tried to make peace with my impending death but felt deep despair at the senseless loss of life. then realized it was a thunderstorm

I can feel the shadow of burnout looking over me but work is so interestinggggg I love reading about 1st century esoterica. Alexandria seems like such a cool place to be except for all that stuff that happened.
