My sister is qualified as a human givens therapist/counsellor, and wants to start her own business. She's currently trying to think of a name for said business

She saw a therapy company called Practically Minded and fucking loved that, so that's the vibe we're after. A tasteful pun, ideally that stresses how human givens stuff is all about coming up with practical solutions (apparently; I don't know much about it)

My BIL, a man of otherwise good character and intellect, suggested she ask AI for a list. On principle she immediately asked me instead. I figured I'd throw it open to the pun machine that is Tumblr, to harness the collective power of human brains.

I know the news barely talk about Ukraine anymore, especially in the US. I know because I live here and I got asked about what’s the situation back home for the first time in MONTHS recently, in months… and every time I don’t know what to say because it is bad, still really really bad and people need help

I have friends in Kyiv, I am constantly anxious about them. I have my family and friends in other cities and I am constantly worried and scared for them

When I walk, the world curves around me. My feet fall and impact the pavement. Once, I wanted to be invisible. I wanted to leave no fingerprints on the world. Today I think that's very convienant For all of the people that want me buried.

So now I sing loudly. So now I don't deny hunger. Yes, the police exist in my head, I hear the clinking of chains and scales whenever I pick up my knife and fork.
