what the emo kids of today don’t realize is that in the 2000s real emos didn’t call themselves emo because calling yourself emo meant you were a poser. if someone saw you wearing a black studded belt and hot topic mcr wristbands and asked you were emo you were supposed to say “i don’t choose labels……..” and then they’d know you were a true emo

i think there’s something to be said about tumblr being willing to reinstate pjackk, a blog that’s more or less just an elaborate bit that people find funny, but refuse to reinstate the blogs of trans people or poc that also got nuked. much to think about
