Thank God for AO3, where you can write a character who has a romantic heart and has fucked their way through half the cast as aroace, the straightest of straights as raging lesbians, and anything else your heart desires. And puriteens can put their big girl panties on and write their own stuff.
And for extra context, a little dear who had decided a character I wrote harmless romantic smut about was aroace was high on their self-righteousness enough to send me a death threat on AO3. Over a story. Antis are the worst and should not be allowed to try and control discourse.

I was wondering, actually, because I read 'death threat on AO3' and went 'oh HELL no' out loud. I'm glad that the terms of service were enforced. AO3 doesn't have such a comprehensive TOS explaining what is and isn't okay for people to just ignore it like that.
