Ingredients: 1 cup orzo pasta. 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups chicken broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the orzo. Remove the water and set it aside. Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. For about one minute, until the garlic smells good, add the minced garlic. It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking after adding the chicken pieces to the pan until they are browned and fully cooked. Place the asparagus pieces in the pan and cook for three to four minutes, or until they are just barely crisp. Add the chicken broth to the pan and slowly bring it to a simmer.
