These Paleo Bison Meatballs are a delicious and healthy twist on traditional meatballs. Made with lean and flavorful bison meat, they are perfect for those following a Paleo diet. Serve them as an appetizer or with a side of vegetables for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground bison. 1/4 cup almond flour. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1 egg. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp dried basil. 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional. 2 tbsp coconut oil, for cooking.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground bison, almond flour, chopped onion, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and optional crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Heat coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the meatballs to the hot skillet, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Cook the meatballs for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve the Paleo Bison Meatballs with your favorite Paleo-friendly sauce or dip. Enjoy!
