Granola Baked Apples are a delightful treat, combining the wholesome goodness of fresh apples with a sweet and crunchy granola filling. Slow cooked to perfection, these apples make for a comforting dessert or even a cozy breakfast option.
Ingredients: 6 large apples, cored. 1/2 cup granola. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1 teaspoon cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional. 1/4 cup dried fruit optional.
Instructions: Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts, and dried fruit to a bowl. Mix the ingredients together. Put the granola mixture inside the apples that have been cored. Put the stuffed apples in the crock pot. For 4 to 5 hours, or until the apples are soft, cover and cook on low heat. If you want, you can serve it warm and top it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
