I reread the Anne series several years back - they were free through this.  I need to reread Pride and Prejudice at least once a year, and my e-book version is from this.  Someone recommended Jekyll and Hyde to me a few weeks back and I got a free copy from this.  When I went to Haworth on my last holiday before the plague times, I brought books by the Bronte sisters with me to read or reread that I downloaded from here.  It’s a great resource.

It's a LITTLE trickier with fresh hatchlings, I usually wear some form of armor on my arms for it, BUT my hens will generally let me grab stuff from under them with a minimal amount of trying to kill me for it. They don't really want to step on their own offspring, either, and their instinct is to hunker down and bite the crap out of things that try to get their chicks, and moving off the nest is a last resort. But biting doesn't work against me because I don't care, and I can be fast about it. I'm NOT a large predator, so I'm not interested in killing her first, I'm just interested in snaking a hand under her, grabbing whatever I can feel first, and looking at it, which means I just ignore her completely. And I put the chick back after! And they can see me do that. And they get treats afterward. You do it enough years and they kind of get used to it and they only try to kill you with like 65% of the effort.

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.

It doesn't have everything, but it's still my first source when researching traditional clothing from other cultures.
