so iāve been gone for a bit but i wanted to jump on here to talk about something... i think i have autism or adhd but since i am an older teen and very good at covering up traits and behaviors people judge me for, no one is taking me seriously. i feel like a diagnosis would explain so much about why i am the way i am but it feels impossible for me to get one. it sucks.

hi everyone! i wanted to share this web comic with you all! something you donāt know about me is i really like the show total drama, and i recently found this fan made comic about the charactersā lives after the events of the show. i really recommend you check it out, itās an amazing read even if youāre not usually a comics person!
something i adore about this series is that it has great queer, trans, and polyamorous representation! it also explores mental health in a super interesting way (for those who know the show i am particularly invested in the development of mike and his system). please go support this series and send the creator lots of support!!!

1. i love that my gender has no rules! i can label myself and express myself however i want, even if other people or society wonāt understand
2. the only person i am fully out to is myself. some of my close friends know iām not cis, but they donāt know my specific identity. that said, coming out to myself has helped me learn a lot about myself in general, like how i want to dress/present myself, and what types of relationships and friendships i want along with what ārolesā in relationships i am comfortable in
3. i am more accepting of myself and i understand myself better!
4. i have a list but here are a few: when people use they/them pronouns for me, when my male friends treat me likeĀ āone of themā or when strangers read me as male (these are both affirming because i am afab and have dysphoria around it), when my chest looks flat especially in a femme outfit, and when i can sing low notes or my voice sounds low while talking!

1. i was 12 years old and i learned about nonbinary genders while researching the label pansexual! i encountered words like genderqueer, genderfluid, bigender, third gender, and more, but i didnāt look into them much at the time since i was more concerned with figuring out my own sexuality
2. when i was 13 i realized my gender was fluid through my first experiences with dysphoria and meeting my first nonbinary friend! i also did more research on gender to find labels that were right for me
3. i originally identified as genderflux and demigirl! i used she/they pronouns and experienced agender, demifemale, and female genders. as i learned more about my own gender i realized i also experience nonbinary (third gender), nonbinary female, demimale, and even occasionally male genders! i define and express my gender however i like so i combined the terms genderqueer and gender creative to make genderqueer-creative (and i made a flag)! gender has no rules!
4. a few of my close friends know iām not cis but they donāt know my specific labels. i just express those online :)
5. iām not sure how i feel about coming out! for now iām just out online and thatās comfortable for me, but weāll see how things change

LGBTQ+ vs MOGAI vs GRSM

these are all abbreviations for the non-cis/het/perisex community. but what do they all mean? and which one should we use?
LGBTQ+ - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, plus. the most common and well known (inclusive) abbreviation. sometimes written as LGBT+ or LGBTQIA+ (adding intersex and asexual/aromantic)
MOGAI - marginalized orientations, genders, and intersex. it is short and easy to say but includes many many identities
GRSM - gender, romantic, and sexual minorities. also explicitly includes a wide range of identities
so which one is the best? spoiler: that is up to the individual to decide which one they use! i personally prefer LGBTQ+ because it is most familiar and easily recognized, and i feel that it highlights the communityās diversity.
however i certainly see the value in MOGAI and GRSM to clearly include all identities under the + so use whatever you are most comfortable with!Ā
please note some people may not like being referred to with one of these terms (for example they may be okay with GRSM but not MOGAI, or MOGAI but not LGBTQ+, etc) this is valid and okay! respect their decisions!

why hello there my friend! this is my introduction post to tumblr! iām still learning how it works so please bear with me lol
for my introduction i will be talking about my profile picture and how it represents my identity! if youāre interested an icon similar to mine, you can leave a request in my ask box with the labels you want represented. feel free to describe your aesthetic if you want a specific vibe to it! i will post it as soon as i can :)
my profile picture represents my sexual/romantic/platonic orientation! the labels it represents are: sapphic, caedo-aromantic, acespike/asexual, aego-omnisexual, minamoric, queerplatonic, and voidpunk. here is how i included them in my icon:
background - the background is a gradient of the omnisexual flag. iām omnisexual and proud!
black circle - the black circle appears on the voidpunk flag to represent the acceptance ofĀ ānonhumanā stereotypes given to aspec and nonbinary identities. it also resembles a black ring, which is a symbol of asexual pride!
black triangles - these were inspired by the triangles on the acespike flag to symbolize short fluctuations/strong increase in sexual attraction
translucent violets - violets are a symbol of sapphic love, but i made them less opaque to symbolizeĀ āfadingā or loss of attraction. i used to experience romantic attraction but due to trauma i no longer do, so i identify as caedoromantic
yellow rose - these flowers represent platonic love! i included them to show my queerplatonic identity :)
green/black/white florals - i picked these for the colors, the flowers themselves donāt hold meaning. i just wanted to have an aro flag in my picture lol
upside down triangle - this shape and the colors are from the aegosexual flag! i am aegosexual because while i experience some attraction, i am very disconnected from it
blue symbol - this comes from the minsexual flag, but iām actually minamoric in a queerplatonic sense. this means that most of my queerplatonic attraction is to people of masculine genders and i find masculinity attractive in potential queerplatonic partners :)

Iāll be going through the NB Week posts this week with my answers as an introduction :)
1. my gender labels are trans-nonbinary, genderqueer-creative, genderfluid, and voidpunk! hereās a short breakdown of what that all means to me:
trans - i have dysphoria and donāt fully identify with my AGAB
nonbinary - i donāt fully identify within the male/female binaryĀ
genderqueer - my gender is very complex and non-cis so i like to describe it as queer
gender creative - my gender identity and expression exist outside of traditional gender roles and binary expectations
genderfluid - my gender is not static and sometimes i experience different identities
voidpunk - i embrace theĀ ānonhumanā associations society places on people with mine and similar identities
2. she/her/hers and they/them/theirs are my favorites and what i want used most often, but i am okay with most pronouns being sprinkled in! he/him/his are nice in moderation and gender neutral neopronouns like xe/xem/xir are cool too! the only pronouns i am absolutely not okay being called are it/its and fae/faer/faers
3. ms is the best of these options, but sir is far preferable to maāam!!
4. yellow (a gender existing outside the binary)
aromantic bisexuals are perfect
aromanic pansexuals are ethereal
aromantic polysexuals are amazing
aromantic omnisexuals are wonderful
all aromantic mspecs are effervescent
you are not dirty, gross, or perpetuating stereotypes by being mspec and aromantic
