why hello there my friend! this is my introduction post to tumblr! i’m still learning how it works so please bear with me lol

for my introduction i will be talking about my profile picture and how it represents my identity! if you’re interested an icon similar to mine, you can leave a request in my ask box with the labels you want represented. feel free to describe your aesthetic if you want a specific vibe to it! i will post it as soon as i can :)

my profile picture represents my sexual/romantic/platonic orientation! the labels it represents are: sapphic, caedo-aromantic, acespike/asexual, aego-omnisexual, minamoric, queerplatonic, and voidpunk. here is how i included them in my icon:

background - the background is a gradient of the omnisexual flag. i’m omnisexual and proud!

black circle - the black circle appears on the voidpunk flag to represent the acceptance of “nonhuman” stereotypes given to aspec and nonbinary identities. it also resembles a black ring, which is a symbol of asexual pride!

black triangles - these were inspired by the triangles on the acespike flag to symbolize short fluctuations/strong increase in sexual attraction

translucent violets - violets are a symbol of sapphic love, but i made them less opaque to symbolize “fading” or loss of attraction. i used to experience romantic attraction but due to trauma i no longer do, so i identify as caedoromantic

yellow rose - these flowers represent platonic love! i included them to show my queerplatonic identity :)

green/black/white florals - i picked these for the colors, the flowers themselves don’t hold meaning. i just wanted to have an aro flag in my picture lol

upside down triangle - this shape and the colors are from the aegosexual flag! i am aegosexual because while i experience some attraction, i am very disconnected from it

blue symbol - this comes from the minsexual flag, but i’m actually minamoric in a queerplatonic sense. this means that most of my queerplatonic attraction is to people of masculine genders and i find masculinity attractive in potential queerplatonic partners :)
