I'm not really positive about how to get it to stop rolling up like this; I keep hoping that either size, or shaping, will get it to relax, but I'm thinking I may have to heat shape it. I'm going to wait to do that until I'm done with these two flat parts. I know I want it to have a lid, but given how much trouble I'm having getting the back to hold its crease, I think a lid is going to take some engineering.
I really just wanted to show off how I got this nice big chunk of one color. I'm pretty sure this is one whole bag. I also think these like, speckles of color, from the printing on the bag, made a pretty cool pattern, even though I plied my strands in no particular order, and the strands were each slightly randomly different lengths, and some may have been plied from 'left to right' and others may have been plied 'right to left'--I find it easiest to get the traction needed to spin them, if I crumple a fistful of strands into a ball, and then I just pull them out of the ball.
Alright, well, I'm coming up to a pairing that I was pretty excited to see crocheted. I'm having too much fun making big chunks of a color, and pairing different colors of bag together to make different patterns.
