do you get jealous with or of your partners being Poly, i find it so beautiful but yet so scary, hubby and i are open to it but dont know where to even begin, any suggestions you have?
I think jealousy is a trust/security issue and not a polyamorous/monogamous issue.
If you have security and trust in any kind of relationship, issues of jealousy don't really arise. Especially if everyone operates in the bounds of what all parties are comfortable with.
But security and safety issues exist regardless of whether or not you're practicing polyamory, monogamy, or any other kind of relationship.
If jealousy is already an issue for you in theory, you might want to consider tackling it independently therapy.
If you are jealous about how your partner is engaging with others bc you feel like you think they should only be giving you that kind of attention, then polyamory is likely not for you.
Often, polyamory and being open is a fantasy that many people can't handle the reality of. People want all of the fun but fail to communicate boundaries and safety guidelines that make it emotionally safe for everyone. Or worse, they bend the rules to fit their own agenda and end up hurting multiple people as a result of that selfishness.
All of this depends greatly on your capacity and how safe you feel in your relationships.
As far as serious advice:
Read. Educate yourself.
Seek counseling, speak to a couples therapist to go over your concerns and wants.
Write shit down. Write down your guidelines, wants, hard deal-breakers etc.
Be honest and safe.
“Wow you’re so good at organization and scheduling!”
My polyam ass: yeah that’s wild isn’t it
My longtime followers know my story, but these captions by @cuckoldlifeofjosie induce me to tell it again. For more than two decades I led my wife as we played with many other couples and singles. Neither of us ever fell into love with anyone else like our deep love for each other, so we settled into the idea that that would always be true. Then in March 2024 we met tall and manly tough Robert, who for 25 years had earned his living by winning rodeo contests in bull riding and bareback bronco riding. He knew how to ride my wife, and his cock was larger than those of all of the several dozen men whom she had enjoyed.
Because of an STD scare in 2021 I had wanted us to stop playing around. As Robert visited my ranch a few times he and I became good friends, and all three of us got along so well that we began to act as a throuple. I told my wife to feel free to let her emotions carry her away, and they did. By early 2025 her romantic and sexual love for Robert far exceeded those types of love for me, and for the first time in our long and very happy marriage she no longer allowed my cock inside her pussy and she no longer let me see or feel her bare breasts.
Her graduate degrees had been in psychology and sexual behavior, and she/we began pairing our sexual pleasures and orgasms with her desires -- psychologically conditioning me/us to want her to become Robert's fiancée. On October 30, 2025, He asked her to be His forever, and she responded, "Yes. YES! I want to belong to you completely!" After that she began telling Robert, and me, that she wanted Him to claim total ownership of her. And when He fucked her in her ass her naturally submissive self felt completely and forever owned by Him.
In spring 2026 Robert told us that we needed to think of her as my Ex wife, His fiancée and His future wife, and accept that I was no longer her husband but instead was her Ex husband. To her's and my surprise, the concept of being each other's Ex when we made love (in our diminished manner) was HOT. And every time that the three of us are together, with everyone viewing them as the deeply in love couple and me as just their close friend, it conditions us to see ourselves that way. Now I sometimes feel it is wrong for me to think of her sexually because I am just their friend, and she sometimes admits that her ever increasing romantic and sexual love for Robert is slowly pushing out those types of love for me.
But it is all so so arousing! And given the effects of the psychological conditioning, I am definitely looking forward to giving her away to Robert at their wedding. I had wanted to have a new house constructed for them on my beautiful ranch, but due to the bureaucracy of county and state permits I'm now going to just add an addition to my house for their own space. Until then they will use the guest suite and his travel trailer.
(no beers in) So the cuck chair isn’t bad per se if you’re a very passionate voyeur—

I think there’s sometimes a misconception that polyamorous people just have unlimited love and energy and time and resources to have all the partners in the world that they want- and I’m sure that’s true for some people- but like each individual situation can take up a LOT of emotional bandwidth. Polyamorous people are not bottomless pits of all of these things- a lot of us have limits, we get tired easily, our social batteries run out, we get stressed, etc. If you think having one full-time relationship on top of everything else you have going on is a lot, try doubling or tripling that. Not to mention that even relationships that aren’t traditional can take up a lot of energy. FWB? Crushing on someone? Going out on casual dates? Metamours/friends? All of these things cost some sort of emotional/social/romantic/sexual/platonic/etc. energy. A LOT of polyamorous people do actually have a cap on how many partners/partner-adjacent relationships they can handle at once. A lot of us do actually have a max capacity. Not to mention the calendars.
