Do you want the font size increased everywhere? Or just inside of the fics?
If you just want the font size of fics increased:
Go to your Dashboard
Select the link for Skins
Select the button that says Create Site Skin
Give your skin a unique name (I usually add "for pi" at the end because pi is my nickname)
Copy the below CSS and paste it into the CSS box
Scroll down below the CSS box and select the button that says Advanced
Scroll down in that area until you can select the button that says Add Parent Skin
Start typing Reversi into the text field and select it from the dropdown when it populates
Submit the site skin in order to save it
On the new page that loads, select the Use button to apply the skin to your account
CSS to copy:
#workskin { font-size: 120%; }
The 120% is compared to your browser's standard font size, so you can adjust that number bigger or smaller until it suits your needs.
You could also put a font size in there, like 24px, but that wouldn't scale with your device the same way that a percentage does so it might or might not work for you when you switch from a phone to a tablet or a laptop etc.
Adding Reversi as a parent skin combines this CSS with the CSS in Reversi so that it's all one overall skin that you're using.
If you want to increase the font size for other areas, just lemme know đ
i know things are hella grim in the nsfw/kink art circles especially in the last year --
but I'm hearing there's a NSFW-friendly ko-fi alternative built on atproto that's actively in the works, and being vetted by lawyers right now. as torrent-princess (OP) says, you should be able to swap out payment processors while keeping your account intact. this matters since even if stripe removes support, you'll still have a shop and all of your links intact. (ATproto is an infrastructure that bsky is built on, but is far bigger than bsky with far more opportunities.)
additionally, the Free Speech Coalition is working on a credit union specifically for adult work (including kink art) - here's the link so you can add your interest & support. Since this will be built by sex workers, there'll be far less risk of being debanked for spurious and puritanical reasons.
on a domain TLD level, there's an initiative here for a .furry domain built from the ground up by seasoned furries; it's unclear whether they'll support NSFW, but it's yet another promising turn of events for a group that's been similarly affected by censorship.

Somebody at work keeps adjusting one of the perimeter cameras to have this beautiful artistic angle on the museum in a historical building across the way. The sun sets just behind it and the whole sky turns golden-blue, clouds streaked across the sky above. The lush tree line beneath the museum is perfectly lined up along the rule of thirds and the building itself towers above, almost mythical in its evening glory. there will never be anything as funny as the mutual disbelief between long form and short form fic writers about each other's style.
short form writers look at people writing 100k+ fics as though this is some sort of talent given as part of a fae bargain, that the commitment required shows some sort of ungodly mental fortitude.

just saw a 'comments' tab on someones blog you know where the following and likes tabs would be if enabled and it was just showing all the replies theyve made on peoples posts. this is fascinating when did this feature come out

if you've made replies on posts there is now a tab on your blog showing every post youve replied to and your reply.
if this is not what you want, either go to your blog and click comments and disable it from there or just go to your individual blogs setting pages. just change it from blue to grey if you dont want everyone to see your replies AND the post you're replying to
PLEASE BE ADVISED that it is set to disabled for blogs that have not made any replies but it will turn ON if you reply with that blog in the future.! i just tested it with my main, which was greyed out but it turned on the moment i left a test reply
figured i'd get the word out bc i have not seen a single mention of this and i'm sure there are plenty of people who maybe comment on things they don't want on display for everyone to see on their blog lol. you can still look at your replies with it toggled off just no one else can, like locking the following and likes list
so for some reason this feature was actually announced on the tumblr engineering blog. interesting choice not to reblog it to the staff or tumblr blog, esp considering they asked for user input on how to implement it, but i suppose considering the response to the last update maybe the replies would be too overwhelming...
so couple of clarifications. comments are disabled as default for primary blogs that have their likes disabled. they are seemingly enabled for all other blogs that have replied to posts
posts you comment on may show on your followers 'for you' page if you leave your replies publically available. they may, in the future, show in on your followers dashboard if your follower goes to their dash settings and enables this. apparently, if your likes are enabled, your followers can already see those on the dash if they've gone into preferences and selected to do so, which I was unaware of, and that seems to be disabled at default, but it's possible i disabled it previously and forgot about it ig

user scripts for AO3 relationships
If you're someone who wants to be able to find (or avoid) ships while reading on AO3, odds are good that a fan coder out there has created a user script that could help you out.
User scripts are similar to extensions. You add them to your browser to automatically adjust web pages for you. User scripts allow you the opportunity to personalize them, however, which is wonderful for things like AO3 filters.
Here are a few that might be worth a look:
AO3 multishipper saviour - if you want to read about a particular character in a relationship without specifying any other person. The relationships can be specified to be romantic or platonic or both.
AO3: Reorder Ship Tags - Automatically reorders relationship tags on work blurbs so romantic ships (/) always appear before platonic ships (&).
AO3 Relationship/Character Highlighter - highlights the ship/character youâre looking for if they appear in the first two relationship/character tags.
AO3 romantic relationship savior - hides all romantic relationships in sort & filter page that has "/"
AO3 First Relationship Tag Filter - toggle on the script if you're browsing a relationship tag and all the works that don't have that tag as their first tag will be hidden. Works on both romantic (/) and platonic (&) relationships.
AO3 relationship savior - hides works that have too many relationships in them.
AO3 Only Show Primary Pairing - will hide fics that don't have the designated pairing listed first in the tags.
AO3 Only Show Primary Pairing (Auto) - The difference between this and Neeve's script is that it automatically detects the primary pairing, little to no configuration needed.
AO3 Show every pairing except THAT one - Remove relationship tags from script which you do not want to read.

If you want to save your filters, there are two ways to go about it.
If you do the same search/filter every time, just bookmark the results page with your browser. The URL contains all of your filters, so every time to visit that URL, you'll get the pre-filtered, updated results.
If you use the same filters on different searches (e.g. always filter out Character Death in every fandom), then you can use a bookmarklet to run your filters for you. Instructions on how to set it up can be found here.

hi! You're response to my reblog with Ao3 coding resources doc and general promoting of cool html things makes me want to highlight some of the other cool things that the folks that use workskins do on ao3.
Interactive games: I have a whole post here about the various games on ao3, but pokemon, dating sims, minesweeper, cardgame mimics, character creators and an animated point and click adventure game are some real highlights!
The (currently non-canon) HTML Tryhard tag. Filled with many many cool fics that utilize workskins to tell stories or fics that have tutorials with them. (If you'd prefer to search with filters, a good chunk of fics are in the 2025 or 2026 HTML Tryhards Event collections)
Generators -- When I was starting out, workskins were intimidating, but some folks have made generators that allow you to input your text and get the HTML and CSS to just copy and paste. Including Twitter posts, Simple Texting, Minecraft Chats, iOS texting (instr.), Tool Tips & Footnotes (instr.) and Choose Your Own Adventure (instr.)
Anyway, I hope my ramblings can show off some of the REALLY cool things Ao3 allows us fans to do and maybe inspire more to try making things with workskins.

why does every story dealing with transhumanism feel like it has to come up with a whole new kind of discrimination against augmented humans that's always a metaphor for racism, when like. there is very much already a pre-existing stigma against augmented humans and very much already an ideological infrastructure that any systemic oppression would be scaffolded on. And it is called ableism.
transhumanist stories are about disability. they're fundamentally about the limitations of the human body and what it means to change, subvert, and redirect those limitations. they're very much about the blurred line between body and tool and the embodiment of tools as a part of our self-image (a fundamentally disabled topic). people who get bodily augmentations that challenge the line between tool and user exist right now, and are disabled, and any further developments in that tech field are going to develop in a disability context.
but every time someone writes something in this genre they're like "uhhh, waow, i guess i need to come up with Brand-New Cyborg Racism!! wouldn't it be craaaaazy if we lived in a world where people were, like, racist, except instead of race it's about, like, being a cyborg????"
also i hate what the word "incurious" has become among judgemental cunts on tumblr dot edu but like. it does, to be honest, show a deep-seated ignorance on the topic you are writing about when a story shows zero awareness of the ways augmented humans are right the fuck nowwww being oppressed on a systemic level. like a lot of early cyberpunk has a very real awareness of the ways disabled people are vulnerable in corporate contexts; "this corporation owns a Literal Part Of My Body that i am, technically, only renting" is a real! thing! a way that cyborgs, who do actually exist in our current reality, are marginalized on a systemic level! if you're not interested in extrapolating that out into your transhumanist videos games narrative i can't, like, make you, but i do think it shows a fundamental problem where you are uninterested in The Entirety Of The Topic You Are Writing About to the extent that you can't even look at how it operates in the real world and can only rotate it around as a two-dimensional hypothetical in your brain.
