I'm not one for politics, but this has me annoyed, so all I'm gonna say is this-- Riley Gaines didn't start the whole 'trans women should be banned from womens sports' because she cares about women. She did it because she couldn't handle the fact that she lost.

If you’re one of the people who are actively canceling your ticket because Ali isn’t going to play David this week, I really don’t understand why.
Look, I get that Ali’s interpretation of David has become a fan favorite, but is it really, GENUINELY that bad that someone else is going to take over the role for a few days? Seriously?! No one had been raising hell when there were understudies for Star during previews, so why is there all of this hubbub and concern right now? Just because the problematic vampiric platinum blonde has a different actor?
If I had the chance to see understudies and how they approached their interpretations of the characters, I would be BEYOND excited. I already know that LJ and Mason probably have different interpretations of how Michael is, same with Maria and Carissa! If it’s seriously that upsetting for you that Pierre is going to take over for Ali FOR A FEW DAYS that you would actively cancel your ticket for this musical, then it is actively detracting from the momentum this musical has AND it’s a huge slap in the face to the understudies that are involved in this production.
Regardless of it being main cast members or understudies that you’re seeing on any particular night you’re going to watch The Lost Boys, this musical still deserves all the love and appreciation it can.
The people who are doing this are genuinely disgusting. I’m serious. I feel bad for Pierre.
