Querent:: Anonymous ask Inquiry:: Love Life and Friendships 4 card spread:: -What do I need to know about finding love at present? (Nine of Sky/Sword) -In what way am I ready/not ready for love? (Nine of Fire/Wands) -What do I want from love? (Demon Cat/Devil, reversed) -Where can I find love? (Seven of Sea/Cups, reversed) I chose this spread because I didn't think one card would be all that my cards would want to tell you lol. I used love as a group connotation, both in a romantic and platonic way. The first card pulled is telling me that you may have fears about finding love or withdrawals about friends. Don't let those things stop you from pursuing happiness; put things back into perspective and realize that you might be feeling these things because you're vulnerable right now. Just like in imagery on the card, you're the cat and you need to wake up to find these connections. The second card pulled is telling me, both because it is upright and the meaning, that you are already surrounded by love. You need to reach out and tap into those connections close to you. People typically have reservations about the third card, Demon Cat, but it's typically never a bad thing, and the same is true now!! You're searching for allies to help you through your troubling times right now. People that can lift you up from under the paw of darkness and help you make permanent positive changes in your life. The last and final card shows that you will find love by, again, seeing things as they truly are. Querent:: Myself 3 card spread:: Male Energy (Sky Queen/Queen of Swords, reversed) Female Energy (Sea Tom/Knight of Cups, reversed) How to balance the duality (Sky Tom, Knight of Swords, reversed) Using the true rider-Waite meanings behind these cards, I was able to discern that I was neither content with my male nor my female energies. I am bitter I am not male-passing, and I am disappointed that I am not the typical beauty as a female either. My advice for balance was telling me that I need to find compassion for myself and grow my self love in both forms and energies. I may not always be one or the other, and that's okay. The fact that all of these are reversals also tell me that this is either distressing me recently or there is some unconventional energy I possess. ---------------------------------------------- No reading yesterday, I was attempting to cleanse my deck and give it a little bit of a break. Querent:: Myself 3 card spread:: Stop (The Floating Cat/The Hanged Man) Start (Sky Kitten/Page of Swords, Reversed) Continue (Sea Tom/Knight of Cups) At the very basics of the meaning behind these cards, my deck is telling me to stop following preconceived notions, start applying caution to your decisions, and continue to follow your heart. Based solely on the way these cats are positioned and the true imagery of this, whatever this is referring to is still in motion; all three cats are twisted about or active in some way. Also based solely on imagery, I believe this is telling me it is relating to my internal feelings or self, and not my outside world. ------------------------------------------------- Sorry I haven't been super consistent guys! Just been having a rough time doing a daily reading for myself; I think my deck is getting tired of me hahah. This was a quick late night reading I wanted to do before bed, and I found it somewhat thought provoking. Definitely a bit clashing between each individual advice, but overall I'm sure it'll hit home after I think more on it!! As always, my ask box is open for readings! -Lo

Querent:: Girlfriend 3 card spread:: -How do i fix the current situation? (Nine of Sea/Cups, reversed) 2. Am I actually forgiven/are there still hard feelings? (Demon Cat/The Devil + The World,reversed) 3. How can the situation be left behind to move forward? (Sea King/King of Cups) To fix the current situation, she needs to trust that she deserves happiness and believes that the wronged party holds goodness and joy for her. Although she may not feel forgiven, she cannot see the light and is caught in the darkness of her actions. When clarified with the reversed World card, she need to detach from that thinking and let the nature of this situation run its course. These cards build even more onto the last card, saying that she may need to take a step back and just observe and believe that everything will be righted. For this situation to move forward, the two parties need to find compassion and balance. Reconciliation is near as emotions continue to get reined in. In this overall reading, it's very suiting to have pulled 2 sea cards, as that suit is tied to emotions and relationships. Also by pulling the two major arcana on the second question tells me that question is what she's most worried about in this situation. The split between reversals and uprights also tell me that she's still really torn about this situation, or that there is a general lack of balance, either in this situation or in her life at large. ---------------------------------------------------------- First long distance reading! She had texted me earlier in the day asking for it, but didn't want to tell me the questions so I actually went into this blind. I gave her general overviews about each card, asking if that fit with her questions, and she needed a clarifier for the second one. It was a very difficult reading at first, not knowing the questions, but it was a lot easier to interpret once she informed me. I feel like it was accurate and told her what she needed to hear, which is exactly what the cards do. As always, don't be afraid to hit up my ask for a free reading!! Querent:: Myself 8 Card Spread: The Key to inner Discovery 1- What makes you unique? (Ten of Fire/Wands, reversed) 2- How to unlock magical powers (Eight of Sky/Swords, reversed) 3- How to unlock creativity (The Tower) 4- How to unlock compassion (Ace of Earth/Pentacles) 5- How to unlock prosperity (Five of Fire/Wands, reversed) 6- How to unlock peace of mind (The Emperor + Earth Kitten/Page of Pentacles) 7- When are you the happiest? (Cat Magic/The Magician, reversed) 8- Hidden Potentials (Six of Sky/Swords, reversed) I found the amount of reversals I drew in this spread very intimidating, but I worked my way through it!! I think because I did draw so many reversals, unlocking these things are going to happen in much more non-conventional ways and paths. Diving right in, my uniqueness is drawn for my lack of worry. I don't fret the little things and am able to kind of sit back and watch this play out, making my moves when necessary. Which is also exactly how I'm going to unlock my magical powers. Since I'm still new to magical things and practice, I'm being tested on the daily with knowledge and research. I need to find innovative solutions to any of my magical struggles and improvise as needed. Seeing as The Tower is typically a bad omen, I was a little concerned when I drew this. But I think it's just the cards telling me that I am at my most creative when I am at my lowest points. And because it is non-reversed, I think it means this in very conventional ways. I will find my most creative solutions at my most dire times. And along with the other upright card, I will also find compassion at some of my most prosperous and welcoming times. Whether that means compassion for others, or myself, I feel like the paths to unlocking my creativity and compassion are on a similar plane. In the realm of prosperity, I need to take charge of the situation so that I will succeed. I may run into conflicts that will try to block my gains, but I need to confront them head on to continue my progress. As you can see, this 8 card spread ended up being 9 because I needed a clarifier for the 6th card position. When I first drew The Emperor, I was a little confused because I wasn't sure how leadership related to peace of mind. The more I read, and meditated, the more confused I got, so I asked the deck for a clarifier, and pulled the Earth Kitten, which after a little more reading, made everything click. The emperor wasn't about about necessarily my leadership, but a shared leadership. I have been concerned with my life path and future career, and have been scared to make any moves forward in that regard. I believe these two cards are telling me to take a step back and talk out this future more with others who will make me feel more secure. This also ties into the fact that I am at my happiest when I don't have to necessarily manifest things for myself, and the universe ends up taking care of them for me. Not that I won't work hard for those things, but that I am happiest when I listen to where the universe is trying to guide me rather than fight it. Last but not least, my hidden potentials. I believe this last card was telling me that I have the potential of really empowering others so that they can fight their own battles. Coming back full circle to the first card, I am able to assess the situation and step back and allow the individual to fill their own needs. ------------------------------------------------------- Oh my, where to begin! Well, this was my second longest reading, in regards to number of cards. I had done one more before, but decided not to post it because both myself and the querent were a little under the influence and I didn't feel like it was the most appropriate or accurate reading because of that. She is sly, yet distracted. She must set the wronged situation right. We may have withdrawn too much into each other and need to reconnect with the world at large, both as individuals and as a unit. --------------------------------------------------- Sorry for the lack of readings recently! Between my trip, and the whirlwind of things that happened since I got back, I haven't really had much time or energy to sit down with the cards. Querent:: Friend (Summerly) 3 Card Spread:: -Past (Cat Magic/The Magician) -Present (Stars/The Star) -Future (Nine of Fire/Nine of Wands) In her past, Summerly was able to manifest her dreams and goals simply by focusing on them. She was able to bring about whatever she desired simply by believing in herself. In the present, she needs to have faith that she is on the right path and that the pattern will become clearer in time. She needs to not second guess her choices and be confident that she is guided on her path. For her future, she needs to focus on her creative endeavors. By building a community around her to foster these passions, she will be able to keep her interests alive and maintain those energies. -------------------------------------------------------- Really loved doing this reading, especially considering we're sharing some SoCo and ginger!! Summerly has been feeling really in touch with the cosmos right now, so I was super nervous to do this reading at first, but after talking it out more, I really got into it. -Lo

Querent: the girlfriend 3 card spread:: -How can I seek out adventure? (Two of Earth/Pentacles) -When I explore, what will I learn from the ventures? (Four of Sea/Cups, reversed) -How will exploring help me grow? (Five of Sky/Swords) This was a spread based on the quote "not all who wander are lost" by JRR Tolkien that I found on @moondusttarot. I interpreted this spread not so much as a physical journey of the body, but a meditative journey of the mind. I believe she's going to go on a meditative journey to find her balance/center again. On this journey, she's going to learn to listen to her daydreams and gut feelings instead of taking the logical approach to everything. By taking this mental journey, she is going to grow by overcoming wrongdoings that happened to her and release those hurtful occurrences. ---------------------------------------------------------- As always, I'm open to any critique/feedback. Thinking I might try to do a larger card spread tomorrow, but not sure if I'm confident in that just yet. If anyone has suggestions for easy 4-7 card spreads, please pass it along!! -Lo

Querent: my girlfriend 2 card spread:: This was a decision making spread, with the Two of Fire being a meditative card. It was a "now or wait" kind of decision, but I think both cards were telling her that she needs to wait. The reversed chariot was saying "gather your forces before taking on this endeavor" while the reversed Ten of Sea was saying "retreat to family/loved ones to find your confidence". ----------------------------------------------------- This was another spread the book provided, which has been so extremely helpful with readings. I know most tarot decks come with a little booklet, but having fully fleshed out descriptions really makes readings easier. -Lo
