at my wits end with this fucking foster cat. she's learned that getting removed from the places she's not supposed to be is a game and doesn't understand that she can just walk away when upset and instead chooses to hunt and attack me and my partner. im so sick of her shit and i really don't want to leave her shut in her room [our closet and bathroom] because that's cruel but the moment we are in the same space she goes from chill to menace. she gets plenty of attention up until she decides to bite the shit out of our hands and arms. i'm at a loss. she goes back to her owners sometime in september hopefully but i can't wait that long.
she has all the space we can give her in our apartment, our roommate is super allergic so she needs to stay in out bedroom with a walk through closet and bathroom attached. she gets essentially the whole bathroom and closet. she has the most energy i've ever seen of a cat, she could play literally all day long and not get bored, but she doesn't care for any of her self-play toys. we have to be the ones on the other end of the toy or she doesn't give a rip, but we are busy and chronically ill and don't have enough energy to play with her for longer than maybe an hour a day [which should be all she needs but alas]. she thinks that getting up on desks and shelves is so great because then she gets our attention, but ignoring her doesn't discourage the behavior either. i think she's just super territorial on top of bored, but we can't have her getting territorial over our literal bedroom and we've given her all the toys and towers and whatever the fuck she could want and she still chooses to draw blood.
Also I'm agetting a fursuit head and tail soon.
