The Guineafowl Pufferfish tends to come in two color morphs: dark with light spots, and gold. This individual is a rare third morph: a combination of the two colors in a single person. Combined with the lovely frilled fins and warm personality, this mermaid is the winner of much undersea fame.

I came across the word "swaggereth" in a book from 1622 last night and felt like it should be shared with the world.

"Hee swaggereth, as though the whole Towne were his owne."

You know, I've seen manuscript abbreviations that looked like text-speak, but hand-drawing emojis to stand in for the word ceann (head) in a passage about Cú Chulainn being beheaded is taking that all to a new level

He just keeps doing it. Every time somebody gets beheaded in this text, the word "ceann" gets replaced with 😐 And a lot of people get beheaded in this text (thanks Conall), so this happens a lot.
