“Tumblrweed” is a new term I’m coining meaning an ancient post from simpler times that happens to roll across your dashboard. It is appropriately used when referencing Tumblr prom posts, or an ask that someone made rebloggable, or even a post with 12 versions of “THIS” gifs under the original post. You can’t tell if the person you’re following reblogged it ironically or if they’re just somehow trapped in 2011. It’s unsettling.
