So hear me out - I absolutely headcanon Svetlana and Hollanov being somewhat involved in the PWHL, but consider Yuna Hollander who loved hockey because it helped her feel connected to a Canadian identity as a first generation Canadian. She would have loved to play, but she grew up in an era where girls’ hockey was practically nonexistent and the daughter of Japanese immigrants would not be the one to break that barrier. She hears about the PWHPA thanks to her millions of connections and immediately is like “I want in.” She uses all her incredible connections to build out the partnerships, court sponsors, connect potential players etc. IDK if she becomes a team owner or is just a behind the scenes mastermind but damn I imagine she would be there.

This is an EXTREMELY blessed post! And accurate! When I first moved out I was so excited for my new place I slept on the floor and had my tv there and that was it. Loved it. You grow and you build and you gain and you lose. I lost that place and everything in it. Now I have a new place with new things and it’s very much home.
