i’ve been trying to explain this sketch to people for years

there is literally no way to explain this sketch it’s just a thing you have to see and even then I’m not sure why it’s so funny

“Dear Sister” is the rare SNL sketch making fun of a specific pop culture moment that transcended the thing it is a satire of. No one remembers the OC but the sketch is still wonderful regardless.

it’s the overlapping music cues that kill me

"Ah, sorry, I think I misspoke; we have millions in just one of our more widely known languages. Take everything together and I wouldn't be surprised if we have billions."

also I don't think parents "these days" are uniquely terrible, I just think neglect is showing up in new ways as technology progresses. today's ipad kid would've been wandering around in a ditch alone all day and night before. parents not wanting to have to deal with children is not a new phenomenon.

For those who genuinely don't know, "free the nipple" is about going topless. As in no clothes over the tits at all.
