Fun fact! Back in 2021 I was on the pilot of a failed TV series that was tentatively titled "The Madrid Project". I got hired last minute by the stunt coordinator, because one of their actors got covid and they needed a muscular goon to show up on screen for fifteen seconds and immediately get killed by the protagonists.
The director (Robert Madrid) liked me so much that we re-shot my scenes, with me wearing a mask in the re-shoots because he wanted to cast me in later episodes in a speaking part and didn't want to waste me by having me play a mook villain in one scene and then die.
I seriously thought that this was gonna be my entry way into acting but it turns out the pilot fucking sucked and the show never got picked up for a whole season.
If I can find the pilot I'm sharing it here lmao. I think I'll DM the producer and see if he would be OK with that.
I FINALLY finished editing the complete edition of Wolfsjäger. I just did the end credits so here's the official count in the official version:
Fourteen episodes Six hour and twenty-six minute runtime Nine illustrators One animator Two German language and translation consultants Twenty-six voice actors playing thirty-four characters
Thirty-eight collaborators in total made Wolfsjäger possible. That and all the extra help I got from the German listeners in the audience, giving me additional consultation on culture/language/geography to make the setting and dialogue as well-done as possible.
This was a lot of fun, also, I will never ever make a project this despicably massive ever again (just kidding yes I will).

Back in 2022 I almost died because I paddled like three miles out to sea on a fishing kayak with a defective drain plug. The only reason I lived was before I started sinking, I changed course to follow a trail of unexplainable roses and petals that were floating in the middle of the ocean.

Cheeky little trivia:
In episode thirteen of Wolfsjäger, Jäger says "then come for me, Durchdenwald" after revealing himself on the military radio frequency. It's a little reference to another very famous German werewolf.
It's a little nod at Atreyu revealing himself to G'mork in The Neverending Story, one of my most favorite movies.

There’s something so interesting to me about Escaped Audios’ yandere videos. Like Rom3o and the silence have very different distinct vibes but the themes the themes the themesssssss. how loneliness and fear can have you seek connection from what your brain can think of as “safer” but is actually actively harmful to you.
Also I appreciate how he subverts typical yandere expectations without doing the audio equivalent of staring into the camera and going “this is gross and sick your gross and sick for even clicking on this video you freak” which I find is often what audio creators do when attempting to stretch the yandere trope further than what is typically done with it.
Back to the themes for a second. Both of these audios have a theme of seeking out real human connection. Which is just nice.
I do appreciate also that the silence is like properly scary and both of these audios don’t turn the yandere into a UwU-ified soft boy while also not relying on heavy screaming and edgy violence. (I’ve got no problem with violence however there are times where violence can go from scary to overdone and kind of boring.)
Anyway very good 10/10 audios will continue to listen again

Those were both very controversial (especially ROM3O, since that one broke algorithmic containment). A loottttt of people had a weird reaction to ROM3O because they just kinda forgot that yandere is a horror trope and not a romance trope.
