It was a flagship, technologically advanced model for its time, aimed at a younger audience.
Rinspeed Tatooo.com (Rinspeed), 2000
Tatooo.com - the play on words combines the emotional, erotic appeal of human body art with the three zeros that have come to symbolize the new millennium. The Internet address is a website for the vehicle, as well as its name.
The original concept of the "Multi Utility Vehicle (M.U.V.)" was first demonstrated in last year’s creation for the Geneva Motor Show, the Rinspeed X-Trem. TATOOO.COM takes that concept to a new dimension.
The RINSPEED TATOOO.COM can’t hide the fact that its roots lie in the traditional American hot rod. Its lines are reminiscent of the classic pick-up trucks of the Fifties. The dominating hood with its large air intakes lends a sporty and dynamic appearance to the showstopper.
The front and rear fenders with their generous sweeping lines just barely cover the extra-wide tires. The windshield and side windows are very low compared to contemporary production cars. These observation slits harken back to the hot rod era. The doors are completely free of attached parts, with the exception of the rearview mirrors required by law. Door handles have been replaced by a remote-controlled electromagnetic opening mechanism. The truck bed is also free of attached parts. Wide side skirts and modern light units provide the only visual clues that the vehicle is in fact a synthesis of old and new. The tailgate is a real novelty. It is essentially a frame with a transparent and indestructible Lexan plate in the center. The tailgate lends a much lighter appearance to the vehicle’s rear and gives stylists unprecedented design freedom.
The BMW Z3 M Roadster (body index (E36/7)) is a high-performance version of the classic roadster, produced from September 1996 to June 2000. The car was equipped with a powerful 3.2-liter gasoline engine, providing the sports car with dynamics and outstanding speed characteristics.

Venturi Grand Prix (2002)
Venturi have taken new steps to establish themselves in the motorsport industry. The Grand Prix is a race-ready car that relies on Renualt mechanicals. It uses a modified version of the Renault Sport V6 found in the new Clio V6 II. The chassis is supplied from the Venturi Fetish.
With a weight of 850kg, an FIA approved roolbar, a hydropneumatic syspension, carbon brakes and a ground-effect floor pan the Grand Prix is a genuine race car. A production version of the Grand Prix will be available in 2004. Links are already being created with Renault Sport to help maintain a supply of competition-based parts.

The concept was first shown at the 1988 Paris Salon as the "Super car for living".
This is what Renault’s press release said about it:
"Megane, a double showcase for design and technology, is also a research tool for it’s maker’s next genereation of models.
The Megane was first presented at the Autumn, 1988 Paris Auto Show. Developed over a 5-year period between Renault and French television-broadcasting company, TDF, the Megane was an aerodynamic four-seat sedan with a low drag coefficient of 0.21. With first-class aircraft-style seats, a pull-out trunk, and electronic sliding doors, the Megane was designed with optimum luxury in mind. A 3-liter turbocharged V6 engine also propelled the Megane to a top speed of 160 miles per hour. The Megane's 130-horsepower engine thrusted the car from 0-60 miles per hour in eight seconds. The front passenger seat could rotate to face the rear passengers, as the seat belt traveled along with the seat. The rear bench seat could recline, as the rear window slid back along rails to create more head room. The single front windshield wiper was concealed under a panel until it was engaged. The fully-adjustable driver console consisted of analog gauges, a simple steering wheel, two rear-vision monitors, and easy-to-reach controls. Fixed windows, with partially-movable sections on the front windows limited interior ventilation, aside from the electronic air conditioning system. The rear passengers had use of two retractable ceiling-mounted televisions which could also display the atlas system mounted up front. The rear seats were also divided by a cooler for food and drink storage. The navigational system also provided information on upcoming hotels. restaurants. etc. A hands-free telephone was built into the front section, while the rear section was fitted with a hand-held phone. The transmission was automatic, which could be switched to a clutch-less manual.
A luxury 4-seat saloon, the Megane was designed to provide absolute comfort for its occupants. The doors all slide to reveal an open, easy to access, interior without b-pillars. Electronics were key to the futuristic nature of the vehicle and the original press release is full of references to remote door locking, seats with position memory and other gadgetry now commonplace in modern vehicles.
Nissan GT-R Nismo Japan (R35) '2025
The 2023–2025 Nissan GT-R Nismo (R35) represents the final and most advanced iteration of the legendary Japanese supercar before its production ends in 2025. The main changes during this period affected aerodynamics, cooling, and chassis settings.
Chevrolet XT-2, 1989
Shades of El Camino — an IROC Camaro pickup. But the El C. never performed like the XT-2 — even with a 454-cu.-in. V8. What we have here is serious V6 power in race trim producing 360 horses for quarter-mile acceleration in about 13 seconds flat and a 0-to-60 mph time of 6 seconds.
Not surprisingly, the function of the XT-2 goes beyond most concept trucks as it will see active service as a pace vehicle for the CART PPG Indy Car World Series. To handle the task, the pace truck was built from the ground up and is based on a tube frame with integral rollbars — necessary rollover protection at racing speeds.
The huge sloping windshield, which also serves as the hood, is the largest piece of windshield glass ever made by PPG and lifts on gas struts like a hatch. With the windshield raised, the top of the instrument panel also lifts up for access to the engine. The rear drivetrain is accessible through a removable bed floor.
The 4.5-liter 90° V6 traces its lineage to a Trans-Am racing-type powerplant, and uses Chevy high-performance Bow Tie components, including the block and cylinder heads.
A special clear-coated PPG 3-step paint job with blue mica chips over a red base gives the smooth flanks an electric blue color in the sun that changes to purple in low light.
For 1989, GM had two futuristic concept trucks that we assume they hoped would stir enough interest to guide them in their product-making decisions. One was the youth-oriented Pontiac Stinger compact SUV. Though it wasn't particularly powerful — its engine was only good for 170 HP — it had a high level of utility, including features such as a removable picnic table and portable radio. These types of features weren't put to use, as Pontiac wasn't going to build an SUV in the near future. Ironically, many of these ideas found a home — the ill-fated and poorly designed Pontiac Aztec.
The other concept truck was the Chevy XT-2 concept, which stood for the Chevy Experimental Truck #2. This futuristic-looking, performance-oriented vehicle featured a Corvette suspension, a front-engine/RWD layout built on a platform similar to the F-body Camaro, and a 4.5-liter V6 that was good for 360 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque.
The XT-2 was designed as a pace car to be used in what was then the CART PPG Indy Car World Series, which is now a weird mix of words to see together. The truck itself went through two designs before engineers landed on the final one. The first version was fairly wild and had the engine mounted under the bed. The second version was a based on a passenger-car platform with a FWD/AWD layout and a smaller V6 engine, a concept not unlike the crossovers that would follow in the mid-2000s. So how did they end up with the final version? According to a press release provided by GM, "Given the consumer preference to small, sporty trucks, the evolution of the Chevrolet PPG XT-2 Pace Truck was natural."
So, in 1989, you had the Pontiac Stinger and the Chevy XT-2 from GM as the radically futuristic vehicles. The designers and planners clearly understood that, after the previous gas crisis, crossovers and sportier car-based trucks were the way forward. But that wasn't what happened.
Iso Rivolta Lele (Bertone), 1969-1974
n 1969 the Iso Lele was shown to the public and production started that same year. The number one car was built for an American client who asked Iso for something unique. Together with Bertone Piero Rivolta and his wife (Lele) designed this showcar. Because Iso needed a new production model too and seeing the way the press and the public received the car they decided to take the car into production. The exterior of the car remained the same but the interior was redesigned.
Some fragments from a 1969 article published in the Italian magazine "Style Auto".
"The construction of a special custom car for a private owner is nowadays something really exceptional because such one-off models involve prohibitive costs that usually discourage even the keenest wealthy buyers."
"The realization of this coupé -on Iso GT frame with 5.3 Corvette engine- was made possible by the concomitant occurrence of particular circumstances: the customer's desire to possess a unique specimen and the intention of the builder to exhibit an absolutely novel car on the US market, for evident publicity reasons."
"This car exhibits well proportioned masses especially in the lateral view"
"On the whole, the car does not offer sensational technical break- troughs. And this is exactly the wish of the customer who was eager to retain the overall comfort, silentness and peculiar features of the Iso Rivolta."
The Lele was a very elegant automobile. It was large, fast, comfortable and expensive but doesn't draw crowds like other Italian supercars. A car you bought if you wanted something different than a Mercedes, Jaguar or even Maserati.
