As a reminder, writer sign ups run until May 3, and summaries will be due May 10. We have created this long sign up period to ensure that writers have plenty of time to work on their fics ahead of signing up, and hopefully minimize the amount of pinch hitters we need.

also why stiles thinks she must be in love with derek because she keeps helping him, which keeps cueing more bi panic in him than he knew was possible

in which cora comes back a lot sooner and that clears a lot of things up immediately. lydia/cora CPR scene. derek should probably win some kind of award for how unfazed he is about the development once he’s sure that his sister’s gonna be okay. stiles tries to be all mature, and consoling, and no one’s ever looked more confused about anything in their life.

“you thought—me and lydia?”

“let’s see, you’re hot and bossy, she’s hot and bossy, what’s not adding up?”

“i’m not that bossy,” derek says, and then, “wait.”

“don’t even try to be humble about this, mr ‘it took me three years to get a refrigerator for my apartment but you better believe the train car i lived in for a month got a pull up bar.’”

“that was—for strength training.”

“yeah, and i do kegels for my health,” stiles says. derek blinks at him. “joke! i’m obviously joking.”

“kegels,” derek says, and stiles would love to take back his entire life. or just die right here, and respawn back where he was thirty seconds ago. “what is that, exactly?”

but he looks… does he almost sound intrigued?

looking at stiles, and now his breath’s catching.

“you know what?” stiles says. “it has been a pleasure oversharing with you. wanna go somewhere and overshare some more?”

it shouldn’t work. there’s no world where stiles would’ve tried a word of this on purpose.

Day 1: Found Family

Who are the people Lydia consider to be her family? How have their relationships changed and evolved over the course of the show and how might they continue to change post-canon? Alternatively, maybe you want to go pre-canon and show us Lydia first meeting some of the characters she later considers her closest friends and family.

Day 2: Banshee Lydia

What does it mean to be a banshee? What elements of lore could you explore? How does Lydia deal with her powers? Are there any other banshees Lydia interacts with and what do these relationships look like?

Day 3: What-If Wednesday

It's What-If Wednesday! Here for all your missing scene, fix-it and alternate universe needs.

Day 4: Friend or Foe

How does Lydia interact with and feel about some of the villains of the show? How does she feel about the villains turned allies? What about allies turned villains? Are there any parallels you could draw?
