i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.
I grew up around naked old people who weren't even my family! Gasp! And it was a good thing. I grew up around old-school hippies at a place called Lothlorien (in Indiana) and one of my friends dads held a sauna day every Sunday in the middle of the woods (like you cannot drive to their house, you park about a quarter mile away and walk into the woods kind of woods). All day random old people came to get naked, high (pot), and sweaty. Just random old peen and boobs swaying with the leaves. No big deal. These are things that I believe made me more at home in my body, made me more excited about aging, made me more willing to fight for my security and safety.
Bodies are just bodies. Nothing sacred and nothing inherently shameful or sinful either. The fact that we still can't get that through everyone in however many years it's been is just fucking idiotic.

man yâall remember when the avengers movie came out and everyone headcanoned that all the avengers would live together in the tower and had all these cute posts about various fun ways they could interact and then the movies literally never had any of them even be friends
I want to state, for the record, that âall the avengers would live together in the towerâ wasnât collective headcanon, it was canon. The very last scene of Avengers (2012), the one they left us on, is Tony redesigning the tower, designing a living area for each Avenger. That was, canonically, what was supposed to happen, in canon, and they just changed their minds and decided to⌠not. For whatever goldarn reason.

Also it was canon for literal decades in the comics. First it was Avengers Mansion which was Tonyâs Manhattan family home and then Avengers Tower when Tony built it. At one point Avengers Mansion couldnât get their trash carried away because in order to operate in the US they had to be an embassy and NYC trash carriers donât service embassies.

i personally believe that maximus was the former captain of the guard who was cursed into horse form pretty recently, and everyoneâs having trouble adjusting to it.
like, heâs entitled to sick leave, he really ought to take a couple months to break the curse and come to terms with whatever the fuck just happened to him, but instead of embarking on a journey of self-discovery and healing he just keeps showing up to work. no one can get captain maximus to go on his fucking voyage of self actualization and fix the curse because heâs obsessed with catching flinn ryder. everyone really fucking hopes that when he finally catches this guy the curse might be broken anyway, but it isnât.
he just keeps showing up to work. he glares at the stablehands until they saddle him up. everyoneâs gone over the regulations a dozen times but thereâs nothing there saying youâre not allowed to saddle and ride the captain of the guard if he makes you do it. his former second in command rides him around like âsir i really donât know about thisâ and heâs just like âare we going to catch some criminals or what.â
you can see in the movie that everyone in the royal guard defers to this horse. itâs absolutely because thatâs their boss. and secondarily because now heâs two thousand pounds of percheron.
there is no evidence against this theory and you cannot prove me wrong.
This is pretty much the only fanon idea I have ever decided to hold personally true. I love it. It is the best.
