Aight which one of yall is gonna be the Tranny Thurgood Marshall?
To give a bit deeper context to this since I donβt expect this sundown-town-ass website to know any Black history,
Im mainly thinking of Marshallβs early career, before he became the first Black Supreme Court Justice. He was a traveling attorney for the NAACP, and won 29 of the 32 civil rights cases he took against the Supreme Court, including ending βSeparate But Equalβ doctrine via Brown v. Board of Education in 1954 and resulted in a ruling that segregation was unconstitutional.
He was a master of using the words of the system against itself to force it to lose by its own rules, often being able to use existing sociological data to prove the ways that Black people were not just being discriminated against, but were being disproportionally harmed by segregation. He was responsible for releasing a large amount of legal shackles placed on Black people in the US as a whole, though he did focus hard on school desegregations - in part because he had been rejected from schools on account of being Black himself, including Marylandβs state law school.
This is obviously a brief summary, but this is the kind of person trans women need fighting for us specifically right now. Who knows the fucking pains of how we are treated and the horrific segregation, discrimination, and danger trans women face personally. The system aint gonna *save* us but having people do their best to toss a wrench in the gears killing us Officially and slowing things down means even one more person might survive, and even one more person surviving than would otherwise is a win.
That is what I mean by βwe need a Tranny Thurgood Marshallβ
THANK YOU
Friendly unfriendly reminder that "Ovulation is like an animal being in heat and makes you stupid" has been a keystone of western misogyny pretty much since Europe worked out what periods are.

"I only use AI for research" honestly I hate you more than the people who think they are married to chatgpt.
You are enabling AI companies to become gatekeepers of knowledge and giving them the ability to censor whatever they don't want you to see. You are abandoning your ability to find information independently and giving a corporation the power to decide what is worth knowing.
How do you not see the clear, immediate danger of that? While we're in the middle of a fascist takeover? It genuinely makes me sick.

The difference between "There used to be hot summers too,β and a climate crisis.
Look, we all know this is true. But there isn't a SOURCE for this, and the graph itself is basically illegible beyond "ooh colors". If we want to be good stewards of our informational resources, we need to cite our sources.
From a reverse image search, I found the website Show Your Stripes, run by the University of Reading in the UK, which is likely where the above graph originated. It provides temperature data for various regions of the world from approximately 1900-2025. For example, here are graphs for Canada, India, and Papua New Guinea:
All clearly show a sharp rise in temperature beginning around approximately the 1980s, which corresponds with the graph in OP's post. But now we know where this data came from, and we can verify its validity accordingly.
