Bagdad, California (1991), not long after the last remaining buildings were cleared away from what had been the town's (once-thriving) site on the old Route 66 (bypassed by Interstate 40). This is nominally where the film Bagdad Cafe was set, but it was actually filmed a bunch of miles further west in the Sidewinder Cafe in Newberry Springs, still on old Route 66 (I used to visit the cafe every now and then; haven't been there for years, unfortunately).
