Additionally - endometriosis is not just something that happens to the uterus and/or ovaries.

Adhesions can involve other organs as well.

I know a couple of people who have had full-on hysterectomies, only to discover that there more surgeries are required because the adhesions are also effecting their intestines or other organs. It isn’t always as localized as we have been led to believe.
